Been happening once every 5 games to me. What a poor way to design a game: When hosts leaves, the match ends. MoH was good cause if the person that made the server quits, the show goes on. But this just takes away from the entire game.

Noob question 1: Do the kills you get still count to your record?
Noobier question 2: How can you tell if you're the host?

also, peoples be chirping me to get a mic but I've been too lazy to go out and get one. one day

I think your kills count if the host quits, at least they did in Wii Blops.  I prefer the client side host system of Wii Blops and Wii MW3 because it gives you a very little lag shooting, basically shoot what you see game.  MOHH2 and MWR was lag shooting, ie. shooting empty space where the player was going even at point blank range.  I wish they would turn the MOHH2 servers back on and MWR is fun too regardless.  I do prefer the shoot what you see less lag shooting gaming of Wii Blops, Wii MW3 and even Goldeneye to some extent provides in comparison.  When you are hosting in Wii MW3 you often have a very choppy framerate as one way to know your hosting, another disadvantage to the client side host system but only the host suffers, lol.  It was much easier to tell if you were hosting in Wii Blops in game.  Think of it this way in Wii MW3, never ever complain about hosts quitting, they may be leaving because the game is giving them a simply awful framerate and the fact you are not hosting that often (as evidenced by the fact other hosts are ending some games), this is giving you a much much better gaming experience not being a Wii MW3 host generally.  Trust me from someone who is basically a perma host in Wii Blops and Wii MW3, getting a few host quits is a small price to pay for getting a better game experience overall not being a perma host like me.  I have been in games hosting where the framerate is unplayable bad and laggy for me as host and I am thereby a sitting duck for any opponent who basically get to see me first and thereby react and shoot first, trust me it is much more aggravating being a perma host.  Be very very happy you are not hosting that much and just take the host quits as a very good thing overall, ie. you are generally not hosting.  I think your kills count when the host quits anyway.  Me, when hosting I very rarely leave even when my framerate is terrible, it can be frustrating, however on rare occasion typically at the end of a long gaming period I have bailed when the framerate has become simply awful and I simply do not want to play anymore, lol.  I have played game after game after game as perma host in Wii Blops and Wii MW3 (a gift to my fellow gamers), if I ever leave prematurely I do so with absolutely no guilt.  Overall, client side little lag shooting hit detection is the best possible gaming experience for Wii FPS, all hail Treyarch for giving this to us lowly Wii users using circa 2003 hamster wheel gaming technology.

I didn't realize it had direct impact on lag shooting. I guess I'll suck it up. And now that you mention it, i do notice that my framerate will be terrible the odd game.
Thanks for the reply

Even when hosting with bad framerate you still basically shoot at what you see, lag shooting is not too bad.  I like your very righteous gaming attitutude  Smiley  "Do not cry for me Argentina" being host a lot, lol.
