Okay so recently i bought an HDMI cord because i was tired of delays in my gameplay. It has helped me play alot better this past few weeks. I usually record my GoW2/3 CMs but never have in HDMI. Whenever i try to record in HDMI it doesn't read my cap. I've looked up reasons why, i see that people say there is a way to do it while others say you can't. Now i'm posting here because im hoping that someone is good with this stuff because i am lost at this point. I bought an HDPVR gaming edition but returned it because it was a bit confusing. My tv only has regular RCA ports, R/Y/W has a seperate set of R/W. It has no R/B/G. So i hope that's not a problem, i've heard of a HDMI converter but most of the ones i checked on amazon have bad reviews.
Please only reply if you can help me with this problem, i would appreciate it.

It's impossible because the Dazzle doesn't have anything that could read HD video. I've seen some YT videos saying people can PLAY in HD using the Component cables but their recording will still come out in SD because of the RWY. The only recorder that even reads HDMI cables is that Black Magic Intensity Pro for the PC, and everything else uses COMPONENT(RBG cords).

If your TV has no Component slots, then that might be why your HD PVR didn't work. Only thing you can do is upgrade your TV and get that HD PVR back, otherwise there will be no way to record and play in HD.

Hey Crzy thanks for posting. Yea my tv only has red/yellow/white slots and 2 HDMI inputs, that's all it has in the back. Is the blackmagic intensity pro worth it?

I believe that's the one Undr has...He said it records/plays in HDMI unlike the PVRs, which is why he got it. It'll be good for Xbox but the PS3 has some sort of HMDI block for recording. You'd probably have to have a decent computer with at least 4GB Ram.
