I'm not a big fan of Tf2. But it's alright. And it's free and an excuse for you guys to get Steam which is also free and awesome.

One of the hardest things to actually do in this game, is to actually build a team. Since joining random servers results in anarchy and madness.

So who here would be up for playing maybe a 5v5 or something along those lines?

My brother possibly, he plays more often than I do... hell I've only played three times or so.  I hate aiming with the mouse.  Maybe I just need more practice but I prefer analog or Wiimote.

I love mouse aiming but I hate keyboard control. That's why I play with a super nes controller in one hand (movement and jumps) and mouse in the other.

It is glorious.

Haha, great idea. I'll have to try that. And I'm definitely up for a team once I get my laptop. I bought the Orange Box for 360 and only really played Portal. Half-life seemed boring (probably due to the release date being years ago) and Tf2 was just too difficult to grasp since there was no tutorial and all the players had been playing forever.

I believe they added tutorial in Pc version recently.

They also added a bajillion new weapons and **** to the game. It's less balanced but there's a lot of variety. Should you choose to play with them.

So how does the valve shop system work? It sounds like a pay-to-win but nobody complains about it.. I hate those. Either make me pay or don't, but don't act like I have a choice. It's also usually more expensive.

I downloaded Steam and now awaiting TF2. I haven't played a pc game in ages so if this isn't good then I hope you get hit in the ear. That really hurts.

That was a bit hard to do. Aiming is so much faster but movement really sucks on the keyboard. Gamepads are better in that area.

Every weapon in the shop can be unlocked through gameplay. It takes a bit longer, but you could probably trade to get whatever you want.

The shop is kind of a joke in my opinion. Most people just unlock, trade, or craft the weapons they want. You can't even trade or craft items bought from the store either. The only reason I ever hear of people using the store is to get RARE HATS that would take a while to get otherwise.

Hats don't do anything by the way.

If there's any specific weapons or gear you want, you could probably get it pretty fast. If you want to be an obsessive collector and have everything though, prepare to spend a lot of time with the game because they add like a ton of new content every update.

That was a bit hard to do. Aiming is so much faster but movement really sucks on the keyboard. Gamepads are better in that area.
If you have a Ps3 controller use that. You could combine it with Joy 2 Key which converts controller button presses into keyboard presses if you are having trouble.

Also add me.

Where can I get Joy 2 Key?

I'll add you tomorrow but I hope you're not expecting a proLeeT gamer. I played for about 50 minutes and couldn't stay alive for more than a couple of minutes at a time. This **** was damn hard especially since none of my guns seemed to do anything and all the other guys seemed to one shot me every time.

I believe this is it

Also don't worry, I'm not too good either. The game doesn't take too long to learn either.

I'd use the sniper since you've used one in MoH Joel.  Snipers in every game are somewhat similar (aside from the MoH noscopes) so just use your wits.  In my first game I had a three headshot killstreak and I'm horrible at PC gaming.

Sniper gets some cool items too.

Also Demo Knight is pretty fun.

Oh I forgot to tell you that I can't add anyone as friends because I haven't actually bought a game. I have some kind of limited account. It said that others can still add me.
