do you listen to that is most uncommon, or unaccepted by others? It can be a genre, era (though that's pretty broad), or artist. I like almost all music but I listen to quite a bit of music like All That Remains, Slipknot, Bullet for my Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold. Popular among teens but often looked down upon by the older or more civilized. I also love 70's music like The Who, The Police, Deep Purple, and Boston. Bee Jees were catchy but their voices are too high to make me feel comfortable listening to it.

Most people don't think it's good, but I love it.

I liked it actually. I absolutely love string instruments (aside from Bass, Electric and Acoustic) added to a piece. The one girl playing what looked a moderated Cello was actually pretty hot. $:

The classic stuff is always good. Newer good stuff is hard to find, mostly because of Sturgeon's Law. I don't touch Black or Death though.

I took violin lessons for about 6 or 7 years, so I've always had a soft spot for those types of songs. And she's very pretty. That's probably why that band has as much exposure as it does. Another one I'm a fan of is this:

I listen to Kevin Jack Johnson. I also like Iron and Wine, Dashboard Confessionals, and some others. It all depends, really.

Rap - being from a suburban area predominantly filled with sheltered white people who listen to "everything except rap and country" and think that the only good rapper is eminem, and that he's the only rapper whose subject matter does not deal with drugs and violence
as for uncommon, i'm one of the few people i know that listens to "indie" rock, pop, etc.
