Nintendo Direct Special!!

Welcome everyone to a super mega ultimate edition of Nintendo Daily! Late last night and even early this Saturday morning you may have heard many grown men screaming like little girls as they anxiously ate some Tostitos chips with salsa watching without even blinking the Nintendo Direct live streams of Japan and Europe. Nintendo of America unfortunately didn't have one, but they were using twitter and facebook and were also dropping bombs of their own. With E3 just 5 weeks away it kind of didn't make sense for us to see Reggie's gold chin so early. Last night the Sony Playstation Vita wept as Nintendo dropped bomb after bomb mostly related to the Nintendo 3DS. Well let's get started shall we?

New Super Mario Bros. 2

As if Super Mario 3D Land wasn't enough to make the Vita cry. Now New Super Mario Bros. 2 is coming out this August for Japan, Europe, and the U.S! Yep, that's right THIS August! Get ready for a brand new Mario side-scrolling game!

Kirby 20th Anniversary

Nintendo plans on celebrating Kirby's 20th anniversary with a bang. They announced that the Wii will have a special Kirby collection game of almost all of his games. Only Nintendo of America and Japan confirmed this. Nintendo of Europe didn't mention Kirby at all during their Nintendo Direct presentation so I'm guessing he's still not 20 years old over there.

Mario Tennis Open

A bit of new stuff was revealed for this highly anticipated Nintendo Network game.

- Luma from Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 will be playable
- There are 16 total characters plus your Miis
- Over 200 items to customize your Mii that effects your performance similar to Mario Kart 7
- Game comes out may 20th in the U.S (we already knew that)

Kid Icarus: Uprising Video Tips

They basically just released pro tips for those who play online.

Heroes of Ruin

Some new stuff was revealed about this game:

- You can voice chat with strangers and friends
- New challenges will be available for free every day for a whole year via Spotpass
- Out June 26th here in the U.S

Pokemon Announcements

Pokemon AR Searcher and Pokedex 3D Pro were revealed! Pokemon AR Searcher is basically like Face Raiders only you can catch Pokemon and transfer them to Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2. Pokdedex 3D Pro features all the Pokemon from all regions and will replace the regular Pokedex 3D. It also will have some new features, but that will be revealed at a later date. Both of these eShop games will not be free though. They will cost money.

Nintendo 3DS System Update

On April 25th the 3DS will receive a system update! This is for Japan, Europe, and the U.S! What does it do?

- You can use folders to make your menu much more clean and organized
- All games will be patchable now
- Mario Kart 7 (U.S, Europe, and Japan), Kingdom Hearts 3D (Japan), and New Love Plus (Japan) will receive patches by mid-May.
- New puzzles pieces have been released! Mario Tennis Open (U.S, Europe, and Japan) and Fire Emblem: Awakening (Japan) are now available to collect starting April 21st!

Downloadable Content

Nintendo isn't shying away from DLC anymore. Here is what's to come!

- Fire Emblem: Awakening will have new DLC quests and characters (Roy and Marth from Smash Bros. Melee were revealed as DLC)
- Theatrythm Final fantasy will have new DLC songs
- Monster Hunter 3G will have new Challenge Quests
- Heroes of Ruin will have new daily Challenge Quests for a whole year for free
- More games will support DLC that will be revealed later

Project X Zone

Sega, Namco Bandai games, and Capcom have teamed up to create this beauty of a game! Enjoy!

OMG!! I hope this game makes it to the U.S shores!

Animal Crossing 3DS

In Japan Animal Crossing 3DS was confirmed for a Fall 2012 release date.

Other Nintendo Direct Stuff

In Japan a bunch of third party games were shown like Etrian Odyssey IV, Culdcept, Rune Factory 4 (comes with a music CD), Taiko Drum Master, Just Dance Wii 2, Dragon Quest Monsters, etc. too many to name lol. A bunch of Ninty fanboys were drooling throughout the whole presentation at all these games that will soon be coming to the U.S. I wish I could cover EVERYTHING that was mentioned on Nintendo Direct, but alas I'm only human.

Well, that's it everyone! I leave you all with the European and Japanese Nintendo Direct videos! They are quite long, so if you're bored feel free to watch them! I apologize if I just made your computer a little slow lol!
