Go to the customization menu.  You get this:

Intel Core i7 2637M 1.7GHz(2.8GHz w/Turbo Boost, 4MB Cache)


They display the bare-bones build to entice you with a lower price.
Sorry, I figured you meant the barebones. And still, that's really overpriced..

I'm paying for trust.  I trust Alienware.  I don't trust HP.
Why not?

First of all because I hate having to uninstall all of their crap (I'm looking at you, HP Support Center).

We have an HP desktop at my parents' house, so I've had plenty of time to familiarize myself with it.  Granted, it's not a gaming build, but it's still a shoddy machine.
