Russell Wilson, the most talented quarterback in the draft of course. If he was 3 inches taller, he'd be a top 5 pick. The height issue is way overblown to begin with. His line was huge at Wisconsin and his throws were ridiculous outside of the pocket.

Regardless, with a defence like we have and a solid ground game, a QB like Matt Flynn isn't the end of the world.

i agree dave, dream was a helluva player, definitely worth considering over chamberlain, but i think russell deserves top 5 without a doubt.

tbh, even kobe is worth considering, like him or not he is undoubtably the best player of the last ~12 years.

Couldn't agree more. Although, Allen Iverson was insanely monstrous at the time as well.  Cool

he was great but he doesn't have a ring and only peaked for a relatively short period of time, top 50 definitely, top 5 probably not

I don't know the history of the Sixers where he was the most, but did he even have any good players to back him up?

The whole "X" player doesn't have a ring is a cop out. The playoffs have an insane amount of random variation that the most talented teams aren't guaranteed success. Does it mean those players were not great players? Hell no.

Basketball is a ridiculous sport to place the "he doesn't have a ring" tag on a player. There's 5 players from a team on the court at once, with 5 others likely to play. It's not Iverson's fault if the team around him isn't as good as the team around Kobe.

With this in mind...

LeBron James is an absolutely phenomenal player, and will go down as one of the best ever, assuming he remains healthy. What he has done relative to his pears is unbelievable. Look at the era he plays in, where players are massive, physical forces. The game has changed dramatically, and comparing what Magic was able to do vs. what LeBron is currently doing is virtually impossible. If someone has free time, feel free to find the relative impact of what LeBron James is doing.

Holy shiz you got to be kidding me.   Shocked

This guy is just way too overrated. He ain't worth a ring (HAH)  Tongue

I've shown enough fake foul videos; he needs to work on ball handling more and NOT SWITCHING HIS PIVOT FOOT. I've seen many games of his and it is ridiculous. I hope he does not go down as one of the best ever. If so, the NBA is gone.
