What's with the n00b hop and how do you. Do it? Its never p1ssed me off uuntil today. I swear I emptied a clip + pistol clip while a teammate was blasting him and he ends up surviving both and knifes me. Also, I've mostly seen people doing it with shottys and BA rifles, what's special bout them?

que wey? when they jump and slash? it cancels the little lunge you get. You jump and it instantly slashes when you use a knife so you can just run at people, jump, stick your crotch in their face and slash them.

No, when they jump and shoot at the same time. Ugh, its like an abused glitch or something.

Oh, well I think that's just to throw your aim off. I know rambo recons do it a lot to try and throw your aim while they reload. Same thing with shotgunners since you have to pump the next round in (not USAS or SAIGA).

Have you ever done it? Your boy ranger's clan does it constantly too, I've noticed. And yeah they're recons with 870/Neostead/Spas and rifles.

No, I always try and shoot behind cover. If not I run in circles or run away trying to bait the other guy into chasing me. I love running around corners, turning around and popping them right as they come chasing me.
Yeah, Ranger does it a ton but it works for some of these guys.

I think it's kind of bs myself. You'd have to be pretty bad at aiming or not able to remove your finger from the trigger to be thrown by it all the time.
Plus, again, there's other smarter things you can do. If you play BF and don't normally shoot from behind cover, you're doing it wrong. These guys need to go play CoD or at least stop trying to play CoD in a BF game.

Nah, I've encountered it for a very long time, its just when more than 5 people are doing it in a SDM then its frustrating.

Well that's what you get sukka.
Actually, I prefer just flat out failing and getting frustrated to getting an award for just trying like BF3. They give you a ribbon and like 400 pts or something for playing the round and losing.
What happened to the old days where you would get owned, make a topic about it, learn from your mistakes and come back like a boss? Now everyone gets a damn comfort prize.

I used to do it a lot when I was playing all shotguns, most of 2011 before bf3. I don't do it too much any more, I don't think. It just became a habit, shoot, jump, shoot, jump. Like LT says, it just gives you a little time while reloading. It's a defense mechanism since you don't always kill them the first time be it distance or aim. I still find myself doing it sometimes but usually only if I don't get the kill. Like I said before, it was second nature at one time.
