The E3 stuff of DS3 is what made me want to play the first two so I could play it. It should be pretty good, especially because of co-op. I can't wait to co-op through this one.

I JUST finished DS2, after just beating DS1.
DS2 is better in every way, and it was jumpier. I'm not gonna use the term scary cause it's not, but it startled me more than the first one. Also, the characters were way better, and the controls.
Honestly, DS1 was pretty bad.

Did you play at night, alone, in the complete dark? If not, you weren't doing it right. Playing ds1 in that situation in a large living room is terrifying. DS2 didn't come close. I stayed up every night playing DS2, where with DS1 I would often go to bed earlier because I was scared sh itless. The underslung weapon is interesting.. I'm not impressed at all. It looks like the fear aspect has been completely removed in favor of action. I mean, that "EPIC BOSS DUDE SO EPIC".. I guess I was supposed to wet my pants when I saw the end game boss from DS1 with a minion-spawning ability. DS3 looks like a decent game, but it's completely different from DS1 in a way that I don't like at all. I'll probably buy it, just because it will probably be better than anything else.

It wasn't scary. I don't get scared from horror movies either, I figured this might but it didn't.

You're either lying, played slow parts, or have an incredibly boring imagination.
So why didn't you play in the dark more?

lol it was almost always dark, I mainly played at night. I'm not lying, and I played the entire thing.
I just don't get scared by digital things, but I get scared pretty easily IRL, I'm not gonna deny that.

Well I don't get scared of the actual things happening on the screen, but I start getting nervous and imagining that the things in the game are coming at me irl. You don't?

lol no, I was startled by a couple of the things that would randomly appear, but nothing more than that.
I just beat DS2 in a day, and I beat DS1 fairly quickly too.

So.. you're never alone by the woods in the middle of the night, and imagine that Slenderman or something is at the treeline, watching you?

yes, that's IRL, like I said.
It's a game... just like they're movies..... I don't get scared, for the most part.
