Well couldn't you have just summarized your opening post by saying reviews should contain information about the game and which version of it you are playing. The visual design of the game and how well the hug and graphics were?
What it's available on should not matter. For example, the snes version of Justice league Task Force is COMPLETELY different the the Sega Genesis version as they have a different set of moves and sprites for each respective system. The sounds are different, the moves are also different. They may contain the same characters, but all of the sprites are different.
I'm not gonna list both of them in the review
As for the other things, it should not matter if you aren't just doing exactly what you said, creating a go get this topic with no information related to why you actually like such and such of game.
Quite frankly I think the review section needs to be more loose.
" In the topic title you should include the game's title, and all systems that it's available for.
You shouldn't have to tell someone EVERY single platform it was available on.
If I did that for myst for example, it would not even fit.
If I did it for marvel vs capcom 2, I would have to list, dreamcast, NAOMI, ps2, xbox, ios, ps3, and xbox 360. That is 7 platforms.
And quite frankly as the for rest, those are okay points.
However, I am not listing all platforms a game is for.
If I do a review, I'm ONLY going to say what I have it on and what I played it on. I don't agree with some of the points MINOR points but you should redo that ruleset I THINK IN MY OPINION.
OR put a summary of it.
You can go ahead and list which platforms myst is on in your title if you want(including the 3ds port about to happen).
JUST MY OPINIONS BEFORE YOU FLIP OUT AND GO **** YOU AND CENSOR ME
