Because the things that baseball players do with their bodies and their arms is totally unnatural. It's incredible to see someone throw in baseball.

Haha I would definately play that version of soccer. I don't like baseball but I can respect that I could never be that great at it. People hate on soccer without every playing it besides rec leagues. My friend and I had a discussion about this and he said baseball had more contact than soccer and was rougher...I would beg to differ. I know these people have an extra bubble of fat around them but it is an example of how so often people at least make contact. You actually have to play the sport with good people to then understand how physical things can get.

Probably because besides a couple retired American players who now commentate...they don't really get excited. The people from ESPN sound like this to me: "and he kicks it...it rolls...WOAH HE KICKS IT AND IT CURVES...nice pass...another kick"

And they're completely biased. That Alexis guy is one of the most biased commentators i have ever heard. I try to watch every game in spanish when i have the chance, and not only because it's more exciting but they speak about the game in more depth and analyze it much better,

Yeah, even though some Americans actually like watching soccer I don't think anyone here should be allowed to announce it...everybody already hates us for saying "soccer is kechua" even though it's football for them. MLS IS GARBAGE nuff said

Well the MLS has gotten better, but they're basically like a Division 3 Spanish side. A couple MLS teams might compete with Division 2 spanish teams, but that's as good as it'll get right now.

THANK YOU. There is no strategy in basepall beyond playing mind games with your pitch, and the "can i make it?" judgment call of going from base to base.

I don't know how much you know about baseball, but this is a drastic oversimplification. You have to remember that every player is different, so the odds for event X are totally different for each player. I doubt you would ever read something about the statistical side of baseball, since you don't appear to be interested in the sport, but it's the most advance sport when it comes to analysis, which leads to some pretty crazy ideas.

There is strategy in every competitive sport. Which is why some teams are consistently more successful than others.
