He's just so freakishly talented and smart. Wilson is the first Quarterback I've watched that I'm not expecting a turnover everytime he plays.

Let's break it down.

It seems that the likely playoff teams are the Falcons, 49ers, Seahawks, Packers, Giants and LOL Bears.

Seattle Seahawks:

Seattle is travelling to Toronto to play the Bills, a game I will be attending. Being from the area, I can tell you that the Rogers Centre is a horrid place to play football. Crowd noise will be virtually non-existent and the area has a large amount of Seahawks fans. It's basically as neutral of an environment as possible. The Seahawks are the likely favourites here. They also get the 49ers at home and the Rams at home, both of which Seattle will be favoured to win.

Seattle Seahawks: 11-5

New York Giants:

The New York Giants are currently 8-5. They have games at Atlanta, at Baltimore and at home against the Eagles. Atlanta is perfect at home, Baltimore is 5-1, with their only loss coming to the Steelers are home. They will be favoured to win that game, leaving the Giants at 1-2 to finish the season.

New York Giants: 10-6

San Francisco 49ers:

The 49ers travel to New England, to Seattle before hosting the Cardinals. New England and Seattle are currently rated as the top two teams in football by DVOA, a stat created by Pro Football Focus. Both those games will be away from home, and in two of the best home stadiums in football. San Francisco isn't at all likely to win those games leaving them at 1-2 to finish the season.

San Francisco 49ers: 10-5-1

Green Bay Packers:

Green Bay is sitting at 9-4, and can control their own destiny. They travel to Chicago, host the Titans and travel to Minnesota. They are the favourites in all three games. A 3-0 finish is all but certain, especially with Urlacher done for the season.

Green Bay Packers: 12-4

LOL Bears

The Bears host Green Bay before travelling to Arizona and Detroit. They are currently 8-5. They should lose to Green Bay putting them at 8-6, before beating both Arizona and Detroit, although the Detroit game could be a close one.

Chicago Bears: 10-6

Atlanta Falcons

It's pretty safe to assume that they gain home field advantage. 11-2 with the Giants at home, Lions on the road and the Bucs at home. They should win all three of those games but even winning two will lock up home field for them.

Atlanta Falcons: 14-2

Where does that leave us?

Falcons: 14-2
Packers: 12-4
Seahawks: 11-5
49ers: 10-5-1
Giants: 10-6
Bears: 10-6

So let's forget about Atlanta. What really matters is 2nd place. Both West Teams can take over 2nd place in the conference with a Green Bay loss. The best situation would be Chicago beating Green Bay this weekend at home. That would put the Bears, Seahawks and Packers at 11-5 overall, with the 49ers at 10-5-1. In this situation, Seattle would be the second place team because they beat both Chicago and Green Bay. San Francisco can take 2nd in the conference with a Green Bay loss and a win at either Seattle or at New England. The tie is a huge help to them.

In this standings outlined above, Seattle would get Chicago at home and San Francisco would get the Giants at home. Both West teams would be favoured in those situations, allowing Seattle to travel to Atlanta and San Francisco to Green Bay.

If Seattle manages to take 2nd place, the Packers would host the Giants, and most likely win while the Bears would host the 49ers, and still, most likely lose. This would give Seattle the 49ers at home and the Falcons the Packers at home. The likely winners there would be the Seahawks and the Packers, setting up a rematch of the Golden Tate game in Seattle. By that time, Seattle would have Sherman and Browner back, as well as Thomas, Chancellor and Thurmond in the secondary. Green Bay's ground game blows so Seattle at home would have a killer shot at winning, especially the way Wilson has been playing lately.

The Giants can also lock up home field with a Green Bay loss, San Francisco losing two out of three and by winning out the rest of the season because they hold the tiebreaker over Seattle. They have a tough schedule remaining though.

San Francisco could get home field advantage with a Packers loss and winning two of three (one must be Seattle). San Francisco at home would draw either Chicago, the Packers or the Giants. They beat both the Bears and the Packers this season while losing at home to the Giants, mind you, this was with Smith at the helm. San Francisco would likely be favoured in a home rematch.

TL;DR If a West team gets the 2nd seed, they are the likely favourites to make it out of the NFC.

They could very well win it all they seem to be legit. im just not going to pick them over a team like falcons, giants ,packers. 2 teams that have been there and won it all and a veteran team theys good year in year out like the falcons.

falcons don't scare me, the giants seem to be such a roller coaster of a team they are hard to predict and they scare me, the packers only scare me if they have home field

them winning in chicago especially the way they did it, russell leading a team that has been known not to show up on the road, him leading them with 2 minutes left on a 90+ yard drive with 2 minutes to go in the game for a touchdown to take the lead against a top notch defense on the road and then to do the same thing again in overtime was huge for them, and I think that will snap there road woes. Maybe nobody else sees what i see in wilson because we are in southern alaska and get no respect or press, but if you watched every game this kid plays you would see he just has that it factor, he is special, he reminds me of montana
