sure is, Jim Irsay made those comments on purpose to get in Mannings head because he knows the pressure gets to manning in big games so he is trying to make it a big game

Someone told me today that the reason why Peyton Manning is a bronco, is because all colts want to be a bronco when they grow up... I laughed :(

I predict the Chiefs lose this week

Not a chance. Houston's bringing in the towel boy to QB in the loudest stadium in the NFL against the league's best defense.

List of QB's faced by Seattle:

@Cam Newton
Colin Kaepernick
Chad Henne
@Matt Schaub
@Andrew Luck
Ryan Fitzpatrick
@Carson Palmer

3 of the 4 toughest QB's they've faced have come on the road. Average QB rating of above QB's is 77.6. Seattle has had three blowout wins, leading to prevent TD's. Jacksonville didn't score until Seattle had a 31 point lead and a large portion of the starting defense wasn't playing. Their first TD was a 3 yard drive after a Wilson INT. Seattle had a 20 point lead over San Francisco for an entire quarter. The two TD's scored by Arizona were scored off of turnovers by Russell Wilson inside his own 20.

List of QB's faced by Kansas City:

@Blaine Gabbert
Tony Romo
@Michael Vick
Eli Manning
@Ryan Fitzpatrick
Terrelle Pryor

Any competent QB was faced at home by Kansas City, and they have faced two competent QB's. Tony Romo, one of them played really well against them, but I can't explain what on earth the person who was calling the plays was thinking.

Seattle is great at every part of the game. Star receivers are shut down, mobile QB's are blasted and RB's average under 3 YPA against Seattle. This is a team that was missing Chris Clemons, Bruce Irvin, Brandon Browner and Jordan Hill, while starting injured Cliff Avril and Brandon Mebane, and are now missing their middle line backer. They force turnovers, get to the QB and can handle any type of player. Kansas City has a really good defense, top three in the league, but there's no doubt in my mind that they aren't close to the Seahawks, because no one is.

Aside:

This isn't really relevant to how strong the defenses are, but more of a point as to Pete's Carroll's, John Schneider's and Dan Quinn's ability to  find talent and coach them properly.

List of Kansas City starters on defense who come from the first round:

Tyson Jackson, 3rd overall
Dontari Poe, 11th overall
Derrick Johnson, 15th overall
Tamba Hali, 20th overall
Eric Berry, 5th overall

List of Seattle starters on defense who come from the first round:

Earl Thomas, 14th overall
Bruce Irvin, 15th overall (Who at this rate, might be replaced by 7th rounder Malcolm Smith)

They've built a defense on a mismatch of players through ridiculous scheming. There shouldn't be anyone who doubts the fact that Pete Carroll is the best defensive mind in the NFL.

5-Tech Red Bryant 4th Round
1-Tech Brandon Mebane 3rd Round
3-Tech Tony McDaniel Undrafted
LEO Chris Clemons Undrafted
WLB KJ Wright 4th Round
MIKE Bobby Wagner 2nd Round
SAM Bruce Irvin 1st Round
CB Richard Sherman 5th Round
CB Brandon Browner Undrafted
FS Earl Thomas 1st Round
SS Kam Chancellor 5th Round

The defense is ridiculously deep too, with Cliff Avril, Jordan Hill, Malcolm Smith, Walter Thurmond, Michael Bennett and Clinton MacDonald who would all start for 75% of other teams around the league.

You are all terrible at isolating statistics. It's not the defenses fault that Seattle has had three drives begin in the redzone in the past two weeks. Seattle defense is far superior.
