I've always loved electronic music. NIN is probably my favorite group. I was under the impression that Dubstep was considered to be for dbags for some reason. It sounds cool to me. It makes me want to drive 150mph or going bungee jumping or something EXTREME! lol

Dubstep in itself isn't bad, Dubstep by certain producers is. Who did you listen to?

I just made a new station on Pandora and started it with skrillex. I don't know who the good artists are. I've heard of deadmau5, but that's about it. I've liked most of the songs Pandora has played for me.

So, is this stuff basically the new club music? For us older guys, its just the newest form of techno music. I hated house music back in the day. It was just repetitive, mindless X music IMO.

Skrillex blows, Deadmau5 isn't dubstep.

Clubs tends to stick to top 40 but I usually play house, dirty dutch or hardstyle.

Feed Me is solid for dubstep.

I prefer D n' B over Dubstep which is usually running around 160 BPM instead of Dubstep which is around 130-140.

My favorite dubstep producers (and the only ones I can listen to without getting a headache) are Skream, Benga, Magnetic Man and Example.

After I got over the dubstep novelty I prefer DnB too.

Bio: The way SBC approaches combat may be seen by some to be cowardly or dishonorable, but in reality SBC deals strictly with what is practical.  After all, the best way to not be impaled by a broadsword is to be out of its reach entirely.

Instead of meeting her foes head-on, SBC prefers to use a bow and arrows to fell her enemies from a (safe) distance.  For those occasions lacking a sufficiently large battlefield, SBC uses her knowledge of the magic arts to cloak herself in shadow and flanks her targets, quietly slitting the throats of the men in the back of enemy lines with her silver dagger.  Should the situation become too hostile for a lightly armored warrior such as herself, she will flee from the battlefield and live to fight another day.  After all, a dead warrior is no use to anyone.

Most dubstep totally blows and I absolutely refuse to mix it into a set.

I already heard some deadmau today and bookmarked that **** quickly.  Afro Afro

it's all just the latest techno music to me anyway guys. This **** has been around since I was a kid and it just evolves into a different form every year or two. I do like this stuff though. It's got a lot more soul than that crappy house music people listened to when I was younger.

I'll check out the rest of these suggestions soon. thanks guys.  Kiss
