I go for trophies if I really like a game. That's usually how I go about it. People that buy every easy-platinum game just to get easy trophies... that's dumb.
It's the same as trying to get 120 stars in SM64, or 100% Crash back in the day. Now it's just represented in a cool way that everyone can see.
Trophies also give people more incentive to keep playing games. It adds lasting appeal, which is a great thing for any game to have.

I platinumed Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Uncharted 2. o
3 of the greatest games this generation/all time. holla atcha boy

 between the 3 of them or how ever many where there one of them could of got the gun and pointed it at him and told him to gtfo. Its that simple he would of left no one raped murdered lives saved so on and so forth daugher be eating her captain crunch the next morning

I got those last 2. I don't see why Bioshock is held up so highly. They were both just "good" and "great" to me.
