Who got snuffed and who came out on top?
I think they both could very well have positive outcomes.
Thoughts?

This is an absolutely horrible deal for Los Angeles. The open market value for 1 Win Above Replacement (WAR) is about $5 million. There's $260 million still owed to Gonzalez/Crawford/Beckett. Those three players have combined for 4.9 WAR this season. That equates to $24.5 million in value. Those three are being $56.25 million this season, not even close to their value. Sure LA can afford it, but it also limits them in the future free agent periods because of the amount of money tied up to these players.
This is a huge win for Boston. It would have been a steal if they received no one in return, getting De Le Rosa is just icing on the cake.

yeah Boston wins this deal by a ton. LA gets tacked on with all of those ****ing massive contracts and only have Agon to show for it lmao. Unless they win the Series literally this year, it is a MASSIVE fail. Carl Crawford blows, Beckett is literally the most overrated pitcher in the league. meanwhile, Boston stocks up on huge prospects and clears room. they're going to go ham this offseason (Josh hamilton, JUpton and others) or next
I still think the Giants can win the NL West fairly easily. Hell, even the Diamondbacks still have a chance this year, and more importantly next year.
though, to be fair, this lineup is pretty sick:
1. Victorino 2. Ethier 3. Kemp 4. AGon 5. Hanley

Um, staunch evolutionist scientists will tell you there is no scientific evidence that evolution exists.

Doesn't really matter. For $260 million, they could have matched the production of Adrian Gonzalez and more.

If I was an owner and was worried about money I'd say boston wins for sure but as a baseball fan I would say that l.a. won this deal

It doesn't matter if you have money to spend or not, it's about what you can get for that amount of money on the open markert, and they can get far more talent than what they received for that price.
