As some of us know Nintendo will be holding an event featuring the Wii U and talking about it like they did with the Wii six years ago. We will learn more about the console including it's specs, release date, price, launch games, etc.

Japan will be holding a Nintendo Direct at 3am EST (Eastern), 2am (Central), 1am (Mountain) 12am (Pacific).
Video of Japanese Nintendo Direct:

Thank you for making this topic TKO.

I agree. I wasn't interested but now I'm suddenly wanting one. The ONLY thing that is holding me back is online quality. If they didn't learn from the Wii's online then it's already broken. Other than that, I think it looks pretty damn cool, especially ZombiU.

Oh and also, I'm not really interested in the lineup right now except for the Mario game and ZombieU so if I do buy it, I'll probably wait a while until more games start rolling out.

Already pre-ordered the Wii U! All you need is 25 bucks at Gamestop if you're a Rewards member (it's free to sign up) or 50 bucks if you're not.

Preordered Black Wii U, New Super Mario Bros. U, Black Ops 2, Zombi U, Assassin's Creed 3 and Pikmin 3.

Oh and Pokemon White 2 Tongue

55 bucks for all them pre-orders.

Basically, the Wii U is what the Wii should've been. They're a generation behind now. RIP Nintendo, I used to be a huge fan.  Undecided

That is the exact reason I won't get the Wii U on launch. I want to read some reviews of the online before I actually blow $350. Only games I'm interested in getting, at least at launch, are Pikmin 3 and Black Ops 2. I would get Fifa 13 for Wii U if it wasn't going to be a washed down version of the PS3 and 360 versions, seriously no Ultimate Team? Da fak? So yeah I'm getting that for 360. And I'm not sure if I want to get NBA 2k13 for the WiiU, 360, or even at all....
