http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/01/report-ps4-dev-kits-surface-details-inside

I'm not too happy about the AMD. I'd prefer it if they went with some kind Intel/nVidia combo. But you never know, they might be able to squeeze a lot more out of it.

I'm really happy about 8-16 gigs of RAM though. That sounds like much for a console to me but maybe they'll be using it for something that hasn't been mentioned as of yet. I would have expected something around 4 gigs tbh.

Thoughts?

I'd like to know what you computer guys think about the a10.

Not a computer guy but AMD is known for its graphics capabilities and lower cost.

I'm kind of starting to doubt a little, Keihan. I love the PS3 but there is just no beating a PC. That being said, I'd like it if they could close the gap as much as possible. I think they're going with more affordable tech this time "that isn't a slouch". I've looked up info on that a10 and it doesn't look too good. It looks like a lower end chip that performs well as such. Nothing compared ot the good stuff though.

Slaughter you're right. The a10 is one of those budget offerings from what I've read.
