It had some Robot Chicken skits during it.
- no new Mario game today
- Smash Bros. on Wii U will utilize NFC figurines

- Miis playable in Smash Bros. Wii U. Come in three varieties. 36 special moves to choose from. Hitting 3DS on Oct. 3rd. Wii U slated for 2014.

- Figurines are called 'Amiibo', due out this holiday alongside Smash Bros. Will also work with Mario Kart 8.
Super Smash Bros. will be the first game to use Amiibo.
