I'd rather play something with more of an action element (AirMech, or LOCO prior to the dev team introducing an update that basically killed the game).
What did they do to LOCO? (Or would I not understand it) I can't remember exactly since it was a while ago, but if I recall, LOCO Evolution simplified the game, broke the balance, completely changed certain characters, and royally screwed up lobby systems and whatnot. My friend told me people were trying to set up hacked servers for the pre patch version.

Don't the developers or whoever patched the game see that the community is fighting back? No response?

Dunno. I stopped following it afterwards. My friend tells me it's not improving, but I'd have to ask him to see how it's going.

Ps2 was pretty hot. Gradius 5, Kingdom Hearts, Maximo, Odin Sphere.
There was no shortage of quality on that system.

By the way, Rulep. The update for Skullgirls is finally out, in case you haven't tried it yet.

Art is ageless.
Though, I have to disagree at least partially with Rulep. I don't think the gaming industry is so awful today. The previous generations weren't any better, it's just that history forgets the losers. And shit is always more intolerable in the present.
I mean, one can complain about bad games today, but have you ever tried actually flipping through a 15 year old game magazine? I swear there were like 20,000 terribad generic platformer rip offs and novelty fmv games back then. Just nobody remembers or gives a shit about that stuff now.
Still blows my mind that people are still playing WoW though.
