Thanks man, that's really great advice. Usually people don't lay it down that deep or as easy to understand. I'll have to get MvC then. That's the one I figured you'd suggest since it's the one that most people played back in the day. The only one I have a physical copy of is DC vs Mortal Kombat though, lol. Am I doing it right? I'll just find MvC. ________ Hey, I was wondering about frames/sec. I play BC2 on the PS3 and then watch recorded videos from the PC. It seems to be a lot clunkier (slower) on console but it's not just things like aiming. I'm not sure how to explain it but an example would be that I'll be running with my main gun out and then I'll try to quickly pull out c4 and throw it. PC players seem to make the transition from main wep < c4 < throw a lot faster. On the PS3 I'm literally mashing the buttons fast as hell in desperation to throw it out quickly. Would that be a frames/sec. issue? Is it like you have more reaction opportunities with each added frame/sec that you add? That's kind of how I think of it in my head I'm obviously not an expert though

Oh yeah, one other thing I forgot to mention. Know what moves are punishable from what. For example, most anti air's, if blocked by an opponent on the ground, leave you vulnerable long enough for your opponent to hit you before the anti air animation finishes. Other moves are punishable by other things like jumping (causing it to miss), hitting them out of it before the attack actually hits, etc. Usually the reason you'd use a move that's punishable on block, is because you're gambling the opponent will do something that will be punished by it. The most classic example is the "Dragon Punch" archetypal move, a flaming uppercut posessed by almost every close range or balance oriented character in most 2d fighters (including Fillia). The move is punishable on block, but has an instant start up and invulnerability frames that allow it to counter any other move if used at the same time. It's a gamble that can be taken for offense or defense, but due to the huge risk you should only use it when you're certain of what your opponent will do. - Anyway, going off from that topic, a friend of mine recently put up an article on his blog pointing out some flaws he saw in game journalism. I think he makes some good points, and ones that are seldom made (compared to your usual BRIBES AND MAINSTREAM CASUALS complaints). http://catstronaut.wordpress.com/2013/04/06/failing-grades/

Nice work Autumn. A friend of mine recently bought a Minecraft server, and plans on doing a role-play/adventure server. You should check it out if you're interested.

Ah, I see.
You should get the pirated (aka ****) version until your ready to pay up. The creator even said he'd rather people pirate it if they can't afford it or can't get a hold of it for whatever reason.

I could ask one of my friends to give me a link that I could give you. Otherwise if you don't wanna bother, you could just enjoy the demo and wait till you can buy it in a few weeks.

Nope, I ain't played it yet lol.
You'll probably have to unzip the file once you get the link, maybe copy and paste a few files around to unlock the game. Shouldn't be too hard.
