1. AEK-971 - 1,971 kills, 15.46% accuracy

2. M416 - 1,909 kills, 14.71% accuracy

3. AUG A3 - 1,329 kills, 16.8% accuracy

4. M4A1 - 1,056 kills, 14.65% accuracy

5. SCAR-L - 957 kills, 17.26% accuracy

I'm not too proud of the AEK or M416 because I don't like to use the popular guns too much. I feel that everyone runs around with the AEK / M16 / M416 thinking it will make them a good player but it's not really the case. I'm more proud of the AUG and the SCAR-L. I started using those guys after the patch that fixed the input lag and I really love them.

Also, I feel my accuracy with the other three guns could be much better but I really had a hard time overcoming the input lag until a few months ago when they finally fixed it. I  also want to replace the AEK and M416 with other guns.

I only use 5 weapons anyway:

M240B 2200 Kills; 7% accuracy LMAO!
M1911 1271 Kills; 21% accuracy
PP2000 849 kills;  13% accuracy
870       762 kills; 31% accuracy
SKS     605 kills;   17% accuray

As for my thoughts,  I really don't like any of the weapons.  I loose every firefight and can't control the recoil on any weapon.  My sensitivity is all the way down.

I actually really hated this game until someone suggested the SKS about a year ago.  I used it for awhile but really not much in the last 10 months or so.

In the summer, I started using the M1911 almost exclusively since I like the Close quarter maps and the pistol gave me the best chance at kills.

The 870 was the only not LMG I used for the first month of the game; I don't use it anymore.  Buckshot only.

The PP2k; I wish.  I actually can control this weapon pretty well, it just doesn't have the rate of fire or feel that it had for me in BC2. It is still my go to weapon if I'm going to run around.

M240B is now my bread and butter.  With the bipod propped on something there is really no recoil and I noob it up with the extra mag so I can fire 200 rounds, so at 7%, that means I'll hit something 14 times. Sweet!  I actually enjoy playing this way.  As mentioned before, I loose pretty much every firefight so the more I move, the more I die. In reality, I like to stay still, swivel, suppress and kill in bunches.  I actually go through spurts where I see nobody and get no kills.  Then, 10 kills in two minues, then no kills for 3 minutes.  The game has an ebb and flow to it.  Sit still long enough and the tide comes back in.

One last thought.  I really prefer semi-auto weapons for their combination of power and accuracy.  That is what I liked about the SKS.  But ammo is hard to come by and I like to use c4.  So I wish there was a semi auto for all-kits.  Adjusting rate of fire to burst or single shot is a joke when the power per shot is the same.

1. Knife - It's fun to use
2. Pistol - It's the only thing that has low enough recoil that I can shoot two consecutive shots.

@ GH: I actually feel this is the best gunplay of any FPS shooter I've played because of that recoil. I find it really addicting trying to compensate for it. I know I've said it before but you really have to know how each and every gun handles and from there you establish how much you have to pull down on the right analog stick to compensate for the recoil and how many rounds you can put down for each burst at different distances. You do have to get used to pulling down on that analog stick though. Without that you can't get better and it's not something we did in BC2 so it's new for this game.

I like the slower firing weapons like the SCAR-L because it's much easier to compensate. Guns with faster firing rates usually have violent kick.

SCAR-H - 53 kills 14.51%

Just figured out how to get my spas  Evil , only reason the scar-h is up there was to do the 50/50 assignment

Yeah I think it's a trade off between the SPAS and the 870. One fires faster but the other packs a harder punch. The SCAR-H I think is a great long range gun. Only bad thing is that it's standard mag is only 20 rounds I think.

1. Knife - It's fun to use

Yeah I love using the knife but it takes too long to make those brutal kills. You can't go on a spree quite like you could in BC2.

1. Mtar: 16,501 kills 14.62% accuracy
2. Pkp pecheneg: 3,937 kills 8.31% accuracy (lol)
3. SKS: 3,315 kills 22.39% accuracy
4. G53: 3,079 kills 15.54% accuracy
5. G36C: 1,909 kills 15.50% accuracy

I got bored with the game after finishing everything, so i decided to try to be in the top five with the mtar cuz i really liked it. I got to 9th and realized I'm not a good enough try hard...lol. I think I'm around 30th now in the world. Other than that, I'm a little embarrassed by the pkp accuracy, but most peoples accuracy on that gun is less than 10%. I don't even remember using the G53 or the G36C that much...

I think the MTAR is more of a short range version so I don't use it much or even the engineer class for that matter. I've adopted a more ranged playstyle for this game, especially since the patch. The G53 is excellent though.

One of my favorite things to do actually is to pick people off from a distance, lol. Nothings better than out sniping a sniper with a short-mid range gun. There's not much recoil as is, but switch out to single fire and you're good to go.

funny you guys talk about picking off snipers.  With my noob set up (bipod, M240, extra mag), I take snipers out all the time, even though I usually use the holographic scope.  With those rifle scopes there is a nice shiny spot to shoot at.  So despite being far away, I'm bound to kill them with 200 rounds as long as they don't move.

Nice job on the MTAR SBC. Remember when getting 1000 kills was a big deal in BC2?

Hmmm, that's something to think about.

I think getting 1,000 kills in BC2 was a more lengthy ordeal since everyone had a lot more health. Think about how many kills you've gotten off of people that ran around a corner in a group and didn't even know you were there. I think the added health in BC2 meant you had to work harder to get one kill and had to be more crafty to get the rest, otherwise they'd gang up on you and you would end up with only one kill.

Plus a lot of the new blood that came in with BF3 seem to be quite stupid. Sometimes you can farm several kills like it's nothing.

All in all, which would you prefer? I haven't made my mind up yet. Taking off my nostalgia goggles, I'd have to say that BC2 was a lot more frustrating for me but at the same time, I got a lot more satisfaction there than I've ever gotten from BF3.

I prefer BC2.  I just had so much more fun with it.  I like the gameplay and the maps way more.  I like the graphics too.  I just don't like the "haze" that accompanies most maps in BF3. And for whatever reason, I really haven't made a connection with it.  I don't have a favorite gun, favorite map or favorite thing to do.  Mostly I just get on to kill some time, relax and yes I really want to try to find that "ah-ha" moment.

I had a bigger learning curve in BC2, being my first Ps3 game ever.

Again, the overall gameplay was better IMO.
