I'm only an hour or so in, but I ****ing love this game already. The amount of detail in just this one hour has been absurd. Irrational Games, as a company, are a huge inspiration for me. I'll beat this game by Friday the latest. Gonna play for the next several hours.
The thing I love about Bioshock besides atmosphere/story is searching/looting for everything. The gameplay in this game also feels smoother than in the first two Bioshocks.
I think it took me an hour just to reach the Raffle. I was too busy exploring every possible avenue. This is also the first time I've actually paid attention to the NPCs for more than a split-second.
Like I told my friend, everything feels hand-crafted. Nothing seems repeated. Even the vendors appear to be different. They have different clothes and themes each time, or maybe just a different light scheme.
I think I'm close to halfway through the game... it got dull for a split second, but then HOLY ****. Best part of the game so far. Wait till you get to the two "plays" areas. Dayummmmm they put so much effort into this game.
