Don't care for KD or the Win...just play to kill people, gold guns, or some other challenge like that. I stopped caring about K/D and W/L like I did back in BO1, it makes the game that much easier to enjoy. When I get male cattle dung killed around a corner I passed 3 seconds ago, it doesn't bug me much. Run low killstreaks below Sentry Gun and you won't care about dying close to a streak due to someone with a Target Finder in a corner.

Not sure if it's an effect from playing Battlefield but I slowed my game down a lot. I mix between camp/rush and it pays off a lot. Blindly rushing just gets me killed a ton by people expecting it but when I rush up, clear an area and make it mine for a few kills that will **** people off. Then I can rush away and try flanking them while the enemy is still focused on the area where I killed them last.

tl;dr play just to kill and not for k/d or stats, going 30-15 knowing you pissed someone off by killing them 8 times can be enjoyable.

sometimes the game is really fun but too many factors lag has to be on your side and a lot of other **** ive played games where I go 42-5 turn around same lobby same everything and I got 31-29 getting games consistently just doesn't happen on blops2 that's what I don't like. I usually build a strategy that works for consistently good games but on this one its a toss up. shotguns are the way to go man do pll get mad lol

Core was like that for me, once I swapped to HCore, it became more consistent since my bullets register good. All it takes for a good HCore game is to know the spawns and to have a fast reaction time with decent aim.

^ so true, the regular hc players just cant comprehend how a core player can sweep them across the map with out sitting in a corner.

Black ops hc was camper city, shotguns didnt have range at all to compete in hc tdm. When I started playing mw3 hc, I let those camping fools taste buckshot from my spas/model. Best setup for hc tdm was:

Spas with extended mags and damage or range

M320 launcher (just wait for the rest of my setup before whatanoob)

Flash ( see below)

Claymore/semtex ( depends if i'm against hackers/dead silence or campers)
Recon pro (splash damage on campers  Afro )

Assassin (great for flanking, ive taken a whole team down while they had a uav. They had no idea where my dot would fire next)

Sitrep pro (used it for enemy equipement spotting and when I found out I could hear the enemy wanting revenge, just made my play style skyrocket)

Uav and vests (uav for recon and where the enemy might spawn. While vests gave me extra health against those who thought they'd get free/easy kills from me. Always had a vest to spare if I needed 1, heck so many people raged becuase they kept getting vest hitmarkers becuase I would wait to throw/grab a vest until the one I had on was shot off me)

This setup got so much rage about hacking (atleast 30 moabs/15 against full parties), everything from shotguns dont have range like that to so many hit marks and my favorite how do you know where I was at (camping/moving). This setup is now seen by alot of hc tdm players on the wii, except hardly any sitrep users.

Bottom line is, I got my revenge from black ops and IT WAS AWESOME  Cool

BO1 HC sort of sucked because the respawn timer you had after each death. If you died a lot, the timer was only for a second or two but if you stayed alive longer than 3+ minutes, you'd have a timer of 30 seconds or some stupid number like that. That lead to more camping since people didn't want to wait in the respawn timer but it also penalized aggressive players who stayed alive.

BO2 is much better because they removed the respawn timer completely so it's just like Core TDM only you have no HUD and bullets kill in 2 shots as opposed to the 20+ it takes in Core when the connection isn't good. Tongue For the most part people actually run around and kill now.

Most of the time I'll run Ghost, Scavenger/Cold Blooded, and Dexterity. Ghost is for the UAV spam since people can't play without their HUD. Scavenger is just a precaution if you stay alive long enough since you can't see your ammo count...would hate to be 15-0 and then die because you fired and didn't have any bullets left. Tongue Dexterity is for the fast reactions, it helps if you ADS for every kill like I do. Cold Blooded is just for that split second where an enemy doesn't see my name pop up, they think I'm a teammate until I shoot them. And Target finder campers.

EMP nade and spam them when you get a new scavenger pack...since you don't have Flak or Engineer, you can't see claymores and those will kill you. Shock Charges you can hear no problem and betties you can dodge no problem.

Never had the issue of running out of ammo mid fight on mw3 (constantly reloading) which gave me an idea of when I needed a new gun.

This is a black ops 2 topic right lol

I have been playing more and more HC.  I do tend to find more balanced games, less lag compensated BS.  I just wish there were more HC games modes  Undecided  I havent acquired the taste for HC CTF yet, i play kill con and search some but the little variance is what sends me back to core occasionally.

Ive been runnin this one SCAR class recently, I just threw a class together to get some KAP-40 headshots and it ended up working out pretty good.  Fun class depending on the map, main your kap-40's anywhere up close, switch to your scar for distance.  Havent used it that much but it was fun.

SCAR w/ Silencer
Kap-40 Dual Wield
Lightweight/ Flak Jacket
Toughness and Fast Hands
Dexterity
Greed 2
Sensor Grenades

I ran this class while going for gold M8, and I ended up doing well with it, might keep it around for a bit.  You should definitly pick up somebody elses gun for anything up close, definitly a good around the edge of the map gun.  Used this on core kill con btw.
M8 with quickdraw, red dot, silencer
ghost
toughness
dexterity and engineer/ tac mask
greed 3 and primary

hit me with your classes.

If I played bo2, shotguns  Cheesy

Better off using either a silencer or extended mags on hc setups, I like extended mags so I dont have to use scavenger/pick up a gun that I dislike. And depending on the play style of the lobby a launcher might work better as a secondary (gives enemy campers a nice campfire for when they come back to that spot). Black ops 1 taught me to run setups that wont let campers determine the pace of the game, by running streaks that flushed them out (spy plane, napalm, mortars). Mw3 comes along and camping results in death and then rage deaths, I became something that campers and parties hated/feared. Just by running support.

How do you guys use the M8 and the Sig 556?  I cant figure out a good set-up for the 556, i used it before with select fire and did pretty good with it, then I saw a few videos how it has some mid-range glitch where it does no damage so i stopped using it

Been running this Saiga-12 class lately, its one of those classes I take out in the middle of a game/ towards the end.  Awesome for camping the middle house in standoff lol.

Saiga-12 w/ laser sight, long barrel, fast mags
lightweight
dexterity and tac mask
greed 3
greed primary
tactical insertion

And the M8 has probably become my favorite ghost class, Dont think Ive posted it before.  Its solid at all ranges, burst with it from farther away if you want.  After using the M8 with no attachments I got used to the iron sights, I kind of like them now.

M8 with silencer, quickdraw, select fire
ghost
scavenger and toughness
tac mask/ engineer   I think I've used engineer on this occasionaly but tac mask is the standard
greed 3
greed primary
