I read there are like 2 paths or something for each character, and once you do the first basic path ("beat" the game) you can then co-op with that character for the alternate dungeons or something like that.

He said it's not a matter of beating the game. Just get to the midway point (the stables)

Still, the fact that it's 4 hours in and only works for that character is pretty annoying. It's still putting me off from playing for now.

Uh, "that" character? It should be available for all characters. Just get 4 hours in and find the stable. Look up a walkthrough on game faqs, maybe you'll find more precise information on when you find it.

I know it should work for all characters, but what I read said it only worked for the one you reach the stables with. Alright, I'll look around some more.

Well after finally getting ourselves to that point, we're having a lot more fun with the game in co-op. It's great : D

That's good to hear. What character do you use by the way?

Fighter. I usually like the tough melee characters in RPGs. If I play again it'll be the Dwarf.

I played Elf first because she's fast and has a variety of attacks. Fighter will probably be second, or Amazon.

I want to play some more but I'm busy with school.
