Damn, that really sucks. The only person that I can remember ever having that kind of heart problem is an uncle of mine who is 60 or so. But I'd like to think I have fairly strong genes. I'm not beautiful or anything but in terms of health, we're all pretty damn sturdy.

>mexican genes
>sturdy

LT, quit lying to yourself and enjoy the incoming diabeetus with me. Oh, and our scars that bulge slightly(though we blame this on the Spaniards working their way into the bloodline).

I would say we're pretty sturdy. My dad is in his late 50's, has thick brown hair, never gets tired or sick, strong muscles and strong bones (except for knees because soccer injuries). His dad was still riding horses until a couple of years ago, is over 80 and still has black hair. My dad's probably going to be like him and I'll probably be like my dad in my 50's.

My grandmother on my mom's side was a couple of years off being a centinarian. We're pretty sturdy all around.

Also, I'd say I do have quite a few Spanish features in me.

Spaniards are the ****!  >_>

My great grandmother was 94 when she died and remembered all grand children & great grand children's names.  Grandfather worked out doors with us until he was bed ridden under docs orders at the age of 84.  He only got put down because of cancer from working on & testing A bombs in the 50's.

This. Theres more Mayan blood in me than Spaniard. Though it sucks I inherited that damn scar swelling gene from the Spaniard in me. I had bad acne on my shoulders, and since it scarred over, every little acne scar is slightly raised, so my shoulders are bumpy as hell.

My eyesight.

It's not all that bad, but it's bad enough that I have to use glasses/contacts to read things from a distance, or to make out small features in faces if they're more than 10 feet away.

EDIT: Also the colorblindness thing.

Not really sure.  As far as I'm aware the only people in my immediate family who have iffy eyesight are my mother and sister.  Theirs are particularly bad.  I'm only a little bit nearsighted.  Everyone else (granting that some of them are old and have glasses for that reason) has fairly good eyesight I think.
