I honestly thought it's more balanced than it was on BC2. Here the defenders have a chance and so does the offense as long as everyone actually plays smart and don't run in like dumb asses. In BC2 everyone had a huge w/l ratio on offense and like a .0004 w/l on defense lol. I think a good squad of 4 can make a huge difference on either side.

The reason I dont like CQ that much is because the maps are too big for 12v12.

Yes it's a LOT better than BC2 rush in terms of even playing field, but the defenders have a ton of advantages that make some maps impossible to win at. It's mostly due to DICE decision to allow the defenders to push up to the Attackers spawn. Some maps are horrible because of this and it's like a 75-25 split in terms of Defenders advantage to Attackers.

Canals first base is hard as **** because of the AA that respawns too fast. Metro first base and 3rd base lockers are pretty much impossible due to medic trains. Bazaar first base allows the defenders to get clear vantage points on the 2 choke points and even the spawning area. Kharg's last base is tough because of how far back the Attackers spawn from it. These are just the ones off the top of my head.

And this is without factoring in all the randumbs that want to just sit back and miss hundreds of times while they try to Snipe. Or people that get into vehicles and simply waste them or give them to the enemy when they bail out.

I've played a number of matches of Rush with a solid squad of 4 and it always ends bad because of no help from the blues. Just ends in frustration when your squad clears a path through the enemies defense, plant the bomb and then never receive anyone else pushing up to help defend it. Squad dies then we're back to square one with no progress.

So yeah, I'll stick to my CQ where I know I can at least capture flags by myself or with one other and help break us out of a spawn lock. Only times I have trouble finding people is when both teams want to mountain snipe or when neither team is pushing hard for the middle flags like B&C.

tl;dr CQ>Rush for me.
