I plan on it. I want it for Vita more than PS3, but it's not cross-play with PS3 so idk.

What is it?
Here ya goIs it anything like Odin Sphere?
It's a beat em up, but it's not side scrolling. It's more like classic beat em ups like golden axe/streets of rage. It's more fluid though, attacks are better telegraphed, and you have a dodge move and a lot of abilities that make things a lot more fair. You can also do air combos and stuff. Basically think Bayonetta meets Golden Axe Some screenshots http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vea9pxUojfY&list=FL8PsS0ogNnTJ7ovFcJkWbKA&index=1Elf is pretty pro.

Yeah it's pretty pricy. Big game though and very fun.
The price is a bit EEP but eh, I remember back when pretty much everything on console was like 50 and everything on handhelds was like 30.

So I'm really annoyed because you can't play online co-op from the beginning. The main reason I bought it on PS3 was because my girlfriend could play it with me since my account is on her PS3, and we were going co-op through the game together. For whatever reason, you can't co-op until you beat the game with a character. Even then, you can only co-op with that character. wtf dood
I wanted it on Vita more, plus it would cost less, but I chose PS3 for that reason only. Great.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure I've seen people who have co-oped through it without beating the game.

From what I saw online, that's what it says. I hope I'm wrong, but it really put me off after playing for like 30 minutes. I was confused as to why I couldn't invite anyone yet, then I went and checked. I haven't wanted to play again yet.

Keep trying, I'm SURE it's there because it's a huge part of the games appeal. Try the main menu or the tavern inn or something. I would check but I'm busy, I'll ask some friends who have been playing the hell out of it though.

"Jojo: Once you clear the regular stages once"
Does this not contradict the midway claim?

I'm not entirely sure what he means by regular stages. Might just be early/tutorial type stuff.

Yeah, that might need some clarification.
