This is the latest info that has been shown about the game.

- supports Pro Controller
- download version takes up 2.6GB of space
- save data takes up at least 31MB
- three save slots are offered (like usual in Zelda games)
- Linear PCM 5.1ch surround sound
- 1080p functionality

- Triforce quest – the five Triforce pieces can now be grabbed directly
- Only the remaining three require translated charts instead of eight
- Hero Mode available from the start
- Picto Box has been upgraded
- Upgraded camera could still be used to snap photos of unsuspecting villagers or enemies
- Pictures can go up on Miiverse
- Link can also take funny self-photographs
- Switch between happy, sad, and surprised emotions
- Get the Swift Sail at the auction house after completion of the first dungeon
- No alert via an in-game prompt to signal the special sails availability
- No longer possible to accidentally skip Tingle’s island, as the developers have inserted an introduction to the quirky character into the main quest
- Enhanced first-person camera
- Can now have full movement in that perspective
- Can travel through hallways and shoot arrows like you’re in a FPS

Normal Mode

- plays very similarly to the original
- find hearts by smashing pots or defeating enemies
- enemies will deal the standard amount of damage during combat

Hero Mode

- enemies deal double damage
- cannot find hearts in the environment
- regain health through the use of potions or encounters with fairies

Swift Sail feature

- directly control the ship's movement by steering the ship itself
- move at faster speed
- available in both modes

This is a video demonstrating Hero Mode:

The picture which was at the end of the above video shows the Special Edition Wii U that'll include the game is below.

Nice to see a bunch of little improvements, that's great, but 1 game isn't cutting it for me. This was my favourite game ever, but it's still not enough. Need MK8 and SSB then probably.
