Lol I still dont think many, if any have actually achieved 60 fps consistently on console.   Call of duty, mass effect, need for speed, virtua tennis, and a few others aimed for 60 fps on console.  Whether they got 60 fps or not, who knows.  As for the whole 30 or 60 thing, read the battlefield vs call of duty debate, and decide for yourself which is more important.  If you really want to know your FPS, there is no easy way to measure it on console, use a capture card and then count the frames.

IIRC even the original Devil May Cry games back on ps2 were 60 fps.

I really don't care that much about FPS, as long as I don't notice that it's low. I mean 60 would be nice but I think latency, mechanics, graphic quality and others are much more important.

It's bad when the framerate dips when a lot of things start happening. Otherwise, as long as it's steady it doesn't really matter.

Yeah I guess more console games than I thought ran 60 fps.  Not a lot of modern games, but I looked into it and even the sega genesis and super nintendo ran 60 fps.  The original xbox started running 30 fps, and at the time the xbox was the graphics king lol.
