I have a question, i am new to all of the sony stuff. But if you guys have an xbox then you will understand.
On most days if i am been lazy and want to respond to messages faster i just use xbox.com and reply through there. I don't like using the keyboard thing for the controller because i type fast and have two monitors.
Now for my question: Xbox.com displays my friends when online and how long ago accurately on most days i go on their website. Now i keep trying to do this with sony's website so i know who is on but i keep getting wrong updates on the last log in for my friends. Like months back to be exact. Am i doing it wrong somehow or is sony just not into this like xbox?

I rather post here then look it up, gives you guys a reason to come back to the site i hope lol. Thanks in advance for the replies.

 Tongue

umm, I've never even tried to do that. I know there's an app you can download for your phone/tablet, and I'd assume you can use it on the computer. It lets you look through your friends/message them and stuff, I believe.

You can also just plug a keyboard in to the PS3/PS4. I've always just typed using the controller because I've done it so much that I'm fast at it.

I've never heard anyone talk about logging in to your PSN list on the computer.  Undecided

There is an app on the iPhone for PSN shows who's online, profiles and your own profile and your messages but I think the messages work only for PS4. The app definitely has it's flaws 90% of the time I get an error of some sort and can never log in... I don't think there's a way to message people like you can through xbox.com.

I don't know about other computers/laptops but with my VAIO I can bluetooth both PS3 and the laptop to use the keyboard and access some features of it through your screen

I forgot i posted this lol, but i decided to just download the PS app. It's better than me going to the site, well i use the xbox site to respond to messages when i am playing just because i don't like the keyboard for the controller and i check sometimes when i'm not even online through the console.

The site i was using was this one:
http://us.playstation.com/ps4/index.htm

But thanks guys i just decided to use the app instead. Sucks in a way because i have a 2nd monitor to be able to reply since it's faster to reply when playing as oppose to using the app. But app is more convenient when on-the-go.
