It's not just a camera. It's a camera in your face held by someone who is not talking or making his motivation clear.

So many people are feel entitled and defensive over nothing. This isn't nothing. It's f ucking weird. Is there a single sane person who walks around filming random strangers without saying a word to them or making it clear what their overall goal is? I doubt it. Yes - this guy. He has no negative intent. It shouldn't be assumed that there is. Honestly, it seems more believable that someone filming random people is doing it for no reason than it is that they're doing it to ruin your life.

I still fail to see any logical reasoning behind why someone would feel the need to threaten/attack this guy for doing this. What logical negative intent could he have? There isn't any. Not only that, but they're all out in public. It's not like he walked in to the bathroom stall with someone and cornered them.
I'm asking why does the absence of a real threat invoke a real threat? Paranoia. It's stupid.

There's is no valid reason to film a person in any of those situations. If I'm DJ'ing and you want to record, go for it. That's legitimate.
You aren't going to go home and playback the film of me buying bananas just so you can see me buy bananas. There's something more to it.

Why not? This guy is. If you have no idea what's happening, being as pessimistic as possible and assuming the worst is silly.
I'M BEING FRAMED!!!!!! HE'S GONNA SHOOT ME WITH HIS CAMERA!!!!!! MY PRECIOUS PRIVACY OUT IN PUBLIC!!!! HE MUST WANT TO JACK OFF TO ME AT HOME!!!!!!
What?

That's not their fault though. They asked the guy what he's doing first and got no response. They asked him to put the camera down and stop and got no response. That alone proves he doesn't have respect for their comfort and it's reason enough to be pessimistic.

I guess in those situations it's fair, but it still doesn't warrant such intense anger/threats. Ignoring > threatening. But that isn't always the case in this video, some people immediately resort to throwing a fit.

Implying you need to disarm him under the assumption that something bad is happening. It's not threatening. It's not a knife.
Reacting to a guy with a camera as if he's pointing a weapon at you, threatening to harm you. k

if he was just going around doing that i wouldn't mind at all thats fine but when someone says i don't want to be filmed can you please stop and then you continue to do it after they asked you to stop and you don't then thats where the problem lies. At that point you not proving a point or anything your annoying your being a little 7th grade ****. Some american history x **** is about to go down.

There's a difference from security cameras recording PUBLIC space. This guy is recording PERSONAL space even when they ask him not to. So if he's trying to make a point about always being recorded 24/7, it's not really the same thing.
You don't see security cameras on street level moving to different people's faces do you? If they did I'm sure everyone would have a problem with it.
My reaction might be the same as the bearded guy at 1:00. Stare at it as long as possible to waste his film time then go about my business lol.

Camera's can be far more detrimental than knives so that's terrible logic.

....maybe if you're doing something wrong. If you aren't, there's nothing logical to worry about.
