I need help and I'm a computer noob D:
I can't even use photoshop anymore because it's so laggy and delayed.. Same with sony vegas :( My youtube channel is really picking up and I need to be able to use these programs daily... I don't have enough money to buy a new computer.
I've uninstalled a lot of programs that I don't use in hopes that it would speed things up but I don't think it helped at all..

Aight, we gon' do some troubleshooting, because there could be a number of things causing sluggishness.
I need to know a few things before I can start recommending stuff. Do you have a Mac or a Windows PC, and is it a laptop or desktop? How much RAM do you have (if you don't know I can walk you through it but I need to know your operating system first), and what processor do you have (same as RAM, if you don't know I can help)?

Aight so almost certainly Windows 7, which is good. Here's what I want you to do: 1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc (all at once). It should bring up the Task Manager. Go to the Performance tab, make sure you're running Photoshop/Sony Vegas, and take note of the CPU usage gauge on the left side. If you want to (as it would help me a bit), take a screenshot of the Performance tab and message it to me if you don't want to post it publicly. It doesn't have any personal info, but y'know. 2. Near the bottom right of the Performance tab, there's a button that says Resource Monitor. Click that and take a look at the CPU and Memory tabs. In the CPU tab you're going to want to look at the Processes list. Sort by either the "Threads" or "CPU" columns, in descending order. Those are typically going to be your most resource-heavy programs. If you leave web browsers open for a few days, they can cause memory leaks and start eating up system resources, so that may be something you can fix here, although that's probably not what's wrong because I'm like 99% sure you've restarted your computer to try and fix this. I hope. Anyway, on the Memory tab of the Resource Monitor, make sure the bar near the bottom shows that you have free RAM, because if you don't your computer is going to struggle to switch between programs/processes because it can't do computery stuff that's vital to what you want to do. Take screenshots of these tabs if you want, because again it'll help me figure out what's going on, but note that these tabs do kinda have personal information insofar as it shows what programs/processes you're running. So if you're ashamed of using Internet Explorer as your browser, you may want to keep it private. 3. Fortunately, since you have an i5 I'm guessing you've got a pretty decent laptop, which probably means this issue isn't going to be a resource issue. That's a good thing since it's really difficult to upgrade the resources on a laptop. Unfortunately, that likely means that this is a heat problem. How long have you had this laptop, and how many times (and how recently) have you cleaned out its fan vents using a can of compressed air? If you've had it for more than, like, six months and haven't cleaned it, I'm 99% certain this is going be a case of your components getting too hot and the CPU capping its operations limit to keep heat down so it doesn't literally melt itself. Yes, that can (kinda) happen. So, if you haven't cleaned it ever, you're in luck: this is a very simple way to improve the speed of your laptop, and those cans cost like $4. I can always tell when I need to do it on my laptop because I start losing 15-20 frames in games like Skyrim, for example, so trust me when I say this can really help you. Just pop the back cover off (I can also help with that if you give me the model) and try to blow out all the dust you can. Trust me, there will be a lot. Now that you've got an essay to read I'll stop. Let me know if you have any questions or whatever.

Ding ding ding. After cleaning it thoroughly I'd be surprised if it didn't work twice as well as it has recently.

It's not exactly intuitive that cleaning your fan vents would make your system run faster, so don't feel like too much of an idiot. But yeah, my first step for figuring out why a laptop is running slowly is always wondering when the last time I cleaned it was. If it's been more than 4 months or so, I bust out the compressed air.

You can always run the disk cleaning and defragment programs every once in a while. That way with the disk cleaner you can get rid of a lot of the small items on your computer that together take up a lot of space and aren't essential to run certain programs. Using the defragmenter after that will help compress the remaining data to possibly free up a bit of space.
Just something to keep in mind. I think most Windows OS's have those programs already on the computer when installed.

On that note, CCleaner (short for Crap Cleaner) is a really useful tool for cleaning up storage space. You'd be surprised how much space temporary internet files take up after a while.

Because 99% of computer issues occur in RAM.
Clearly RAM is the problem.
Ban RAM.
