Wii Speak
- Costs 30 bucks for a little crappy microphone; IMO, too expensive - Can't use it in clan wars if GB has a ladder - I'm sure the quality won't be as good as a headset - Only can speak with people on your friend list - Everyone in the room of your Wii can hear what people say online

Why wouldn't you be able to use it for gb? I thought it was only stuff like teamspeak and skype that wasn't allowed, and not stuff like headsets, or in this case wiispeak, which is made for the console?

Yes, in-game communication is allowed on GB. If wiispeak runs in conjunction with the game, it will be allowed.

If you have a jack in your TV for headphones then you can plug them into it and then everyone in the house won't be able to hear your conversations. That's what I do and it works pretty well.

the downside to the thing with gb, is anyone with your friend code can hear u, so someone has to host, assuming it will be like cod, if it is like moh then great. but the host has to have all your fc's so u can get together, so the host can hear what u are saying.

Eh i guess that is one way to interpret that... I am quite positive the people on the opposite team won't be able to hear you during the game. Just like people in your friends list who aren't in the game won't be able to hear you. Saying that people on your friends list can hear you is more to say that people who aren't on it can't than to say that it really is everyone all the time >_>
Or is there an actual source saying that teams can actually hear eachother somewhere? I somewhat doubt HV are that stupid.

I guess my thought is, if u have to be invited to the room for a clan war, then the other team member would have to have your fc's. I am looking at it if u were playing cod, one host, they may have a way to split it so the two different teams don't hear each other. Haven't seen it explained very clear yet.

I wouldn't think they would be that dumb do to make it so the other team can hear you talking.

In most games everyone can hear eachother in the lobby pre-game. But when the game starts there sure as hell is a block between the 2 teams. I don't really see how this game should be any different? CoD sure is dumb if it actually allows people on your friends list to hear you during the game even when they are on the other team. But then again CoD (any version, any console) is quite **** overall too IMO

I wish Nintendo would just be nice and give us something good for once
I'll still be getting Wii Speak, but I can't see how it'll actually work out very well.
