Oficially confirmed by the Nintendo Power Magazine, The Conduit will use Friend Codes for the online gameplay.

Heres the official text from the magazine:

The Conduit is as full-featured in this area as any other FPS we've seen with up to 16 players (with random players from across the globe or your region, or people you've shared Friend Codes with) able to frag each other in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch or Capture the Flag via Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.

I think this game is going to be exactly as MoH:H2 just with Friend Codes. :\

Hmmm....it was expected.
I suppose it'll be like MOH: H2 in some ways, but I highly doubt the community will be small like MOH (like how you can see people you know consistently). I wish there was some way to figure out someone's friend code without having to know them IRL or trade over a forum though...

At least those of us who's getting it will trade around, right?

u will have people still trading their fcs, an if the wii speak works, u can ask them for it.  at least I hope

that the servers will be lag free Shocked

If they're using FCs, then HVS and Sega are NOT providing their own private servers. Which means they're using Nintendo's CRAPPY servers. So you can expect the lag will probably be the same WaWii. Undecided

I'm begining to think Nintendo doesn't have any online servers... They never were or expected to be an online gaming party, and considering how they threw the Wii together (wii-remote included), it wouldn't surprise me. Nintendo WI-FI CONNECTION sounds like a dead give away to me.

^QoS lag is great and doesn't need lagshooting, and doesn't know what lack of hit detection is. That game uses FC's too. It's really just CoD that is horrible.

From what i hear mph also had bad lag, but it was still much better than CoD.

That said though some people also think CoD is lagfree (OMG!) so them saying that doesn't really say much. They also said FCs would be handled better than in mkwii (which they at the same time said was a step in the right direction - i agree) so it shouldn't be too annoying. They're doing the best they can to make them less of a pain anyway.

between the 3 of them or how ever many where there one of them could of got the gun and pointed it at him and told him to gtfo. Its that simple he would of left no one raped murdered lives saved so on and so forth daugher be eating her captain crunch the next morning

Only like 2 people play that game.
It uses the same host system though (like CoD), and it sometimes has the teleport back to wall lag that CoD ocasionally has as well, but this game will not require you to lagshoot.

I agree. QoS had no lag at all. I kind of wish the game would have been better.
