Still holding onto the thought that graduation is my favorite album ever. Not a single bad song on there.

Barry Bonds is awful, mostly because "lil" Wayne is an awful rapper.

"lil" Wayne is an awful rapper.

This is truth and anyone who says differently does insult to music.

Now, moar indie music.

guys i have a request of all of you. I've been told that I act too old for my age partly because I'm more interested in older music. I generally believe that older generations produced music of much higher quality when compared to modern music. That's just the way I feel.

I hereby ask that you all provide me with the finest of todays music from whatever genre. I really dislike rap and much prefer stuff that incorporates good vocals(singing) and instrumentals. If its synthesized sound I have a hard time accepting it as art. However, as todays youth seems to prefer this type of thing I ask you to present to me the best music that you have in your music folders and ipods and stuff. I ask for only the finest of quality.

Also, please don't put too much skaterband crap on here. I hate the whiny, high pitch vocals. I guess that means that Handy can't add anything.

LMAO.

Well, here are some bands that I'd recommend.  And a few songs for each.  The first two are my favorite, relatively-unknown bands.  The rest, you've probably heard of.

Ra Ra Riot:

Thirteen Senses:

The Killers:

MGMT:

Muse:

Katy Perry (most people on this board will probably lol at me for it, but I'm a fan):

The Black Keys:

Vampire Weekend:

And that's all I'll contribute for now.

I'm not ashamed to say that I have Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, and Day and Age on CD.  I play them almost every time I go on a long drive.

Yeah, Thirteen Senses is great.  Can't go wrong with British piano-rock.  Afro

See that's what I enjoy hearing. I think playing an instrument is true music. I hate all this synthesized crap these days. Even if its not the deepest of lyrical content the fact that I'm literally listening to music makes it worth it.

Also, I love the Killers man. Still, thanks for adding them.

Hmmm. Ok... just a little bit, though. Piano is way attractive. Tongue
