I was looking through some games in my room and saw this. I never really played it much because playing online felt like a chore. Does it run smoothly, or should I let the case collect more dust?

It depends on your connection and your opponent's.

I've honestly never had a problem with Brawl's online. Well at first I did because I would constantly get 86420, but after researching it turned out to just be my ports.
The only times I had problems was when someone was on my connection, or if the opponent had a sketchy connection.

For me, playing Crzy is the next best thing to playing offline. Getting someone only a state (if that) away from you makes for good times. But IDK whar u liv so.. :\

Yeah it was crazy....It was as if I was playing someone in AZ. There would be an occasional lag spike, but for the most part I was able to play through that. Though the next week I played the same guy, it had a lot of button lag. XD

It hasn't changed since release... It is playable, but still laggy which sucks. Not as awesome online as SFIV. Edit: And yeah i've also played americans with little lag. But the lag is always there, and it gets annoying especially when you've actually tried playing some half-competitive matches offline (not that i have done that much as i prefer melee and try to convince others to play that with me instead )
