PS3. Why?
Go to Youtube and watch GeneralMLD's videos, and then watch TheTruthSettingUFree's videos. You'll know why.
Btw, to you idiots who think the 360 is cheaper - lol. First of all the obvious - paying $50 a year, but most people like to have wireless so they can take their system to other rooms, or other houses... and in order to have wireless on the 360, you have to pay another $50 or so.
Soo, people who bought the 360 the day it came out, compared to the people who bought the PS3 the day it came out, have now spent more money. (Not counting games and controllers and other random stuff.) OTHER than the mic. That counts because you get it with the 360. But still, PS3s mic is better anyways.
Xbox 360 Arcade= 200.00 PS3- 300.00Who says you have to get live? Who says you need a wireless adapter? There are TONS of people who are doing just fine without a Live gold membership.

Wow. Just wow. Nobody who is playing seriously, or that has any idea what they're doing, would buy an arcade. People who buy Wii's for their kids buy arcades. That clearly doesn't count. Just wow. You can't compare the lowest level product to the highest.
Most people need to get the wireless adapter because most people don't have an Ethernet cord sitting randomly where their 360 is going to go. And, I highly doubt your second point about not needing a Live membership. Anybody who plays the PS3 or 360 uses online, or almost anyone. Everyone does on PS3, but on 360 not so much I guess because they're like " Wow, I'm not paying for this. " etc,

Well, look at the key words their. Most, and almost. Sure, the majority of 360 owners have Live (and with good reason!). Sure the majority opt out of getting Arcade's, because the Pro/Elite versions are better. But the FACT is that the Xbox 360 is available for cheaper. You can't argue that 200.00 is less expensive than 300.00.

lol i dont use the wireless on the ps3 at all. i use my spare ethernet wire. my older brother just got a ps3 and he has constantly been getting psn error 8002a5##. i went over last night to help him out and looking up the error cod its supposedly a common thing for the playstation to just drop connection or just not connect to a wireless router. after calling sony they said its a psn error and to just wait it out. so much for the great wireless sony provides.
dont believe me look the code up. point of the story is get over your fanboyism both systems have their faults.

If you're referring to me being a fanboy, I'm not. The only thing I'm a "fanboy" of is Nintendo, but I've given up on their online service. I'm a fanboy of things made by Nintendo. (Mario, Zelda, etc.) I'm not a PS3 fanboy, I like the 360 and I'm on the fence about getting one. It's dumb to say one is better than the other by large proportions. I just thought of something: a lot of people say "I'm getting PS3/360 because most of my friends have it" right? Right. I just realized the huge gap in sales of the 360 really is due to it being released a year earlier. People who got a system after both were released looked to their friends for their opinion, most likely. And, the 360 had a year lead so more people had them so it multiplied faster. Hmm. Not being a fanboy ^, just saying. It's probably true. Idc about sales though so don't argue about it. Like I said, I don't know if I should get the MW2 360 or not. I have a PS3 already and even if I get the 360 I'll play the PS3 70-80% of the time. Is it worth it?

i'll play MW2 on PS3 w/ ya man @ mess, i haven't had a problem w/ the wireless disconnecting once. it's probably his router cuz I had a problem like that w/ the wii and changed routers, problem solved. oh yeah, fighting over which is better is kinda kechua guys. there almost equal and it's just an opinion thing anyway. the ps3 is a better piece of hardware, and the 360 has better online software. other than that, they're too similar to even fight about. i got a ps3, even though most of my friends have 360's. ps3 has the games i want to play and it has blu-ray. my decision was totally based on personal preferences and opinion... just like everyone else who buys one or the other
