Lag?  It's the least laggy Wii wifi shooter out right now.  That may change soon when all the Euros get it, but hey  Tongue

Well I think MoH is the least laggy. TC is still fun to play.

moh defined lag shooting Cheesy

MoH was a better game IMO. it's just that i've played that game forever and i want to play something new. i'm still on the fence about the conduit.

way to much problems w/ the online, wiispeak is a huge let down, the online game set-up is retarded (it doesn't even put you on the same team w/ people that join you), it takes way to long to get into games (if it actually connects) and the controls are way to floaty and in-accurate (i haven't been able to get it as responsive as MoH).

on the other hand, i like how it feels like an update of Perfect Dark, i like the different weapons, i like the levels for the most part, i like that you can join your friends, and it's not that bad. it just seems like they rushed it out the door when the hype started getting so big and Sega picked it up. oh well, it could be worse i guess.

btw, i've started a savings for a PS3 because of this game. i'm sick of getting half ass games

I think there must be a nostalgia factor with MoH.  That game really was a bad game.  Few levels, unbalanced weapons, and lag that was off the charts.  It was at least consistent lag, but holy crap you didn't shoot anywhere near the enemy.  The only reason we all liked it was because it was the only thing we had as wii players.  EA also hit a homerun with the lobby system.  So functionally, it was easy to play because you could just jump into any game on the EA servers.  That was a HUGE plus to that game that provided a playability that wii users had never and still have never had.  It worked well for community and competitive gaming.  But the game itself really was terrible.

Conduit on the other hand is the opposite.  The game itself makes MoH look like a steaming pile of dog turds.  However, the online setup is so crappy that some people can't seem to see just how good of a game it is.  If conduit had MoH's lobby system, there wouldn't be a person in the world who thought MoH was better.

So I guess it boils down to if you can work around a poorly designed matchmaking system to enjoy a great game in regards to conduit, or if you would rather play a crappy/laggy game in MoH and overlook the litany of major flaws in the game itself.

Personally, I enjoyed the heck out of MoH, but it had its day.  It is time to move on, and Conduit is a step in the right direction as far as the game itself goes.  Now we just need a company to make a great game like Conduit, AND have a great lobby system.

I don't really think that MoH had unbalanced weapons, not to restart that debate again  Embarrassed but honestly any good player with a gun other than the mp40 could still take down one if they played it right..

As far as the conduit goes, i'm sorry, i love the wii. I had just as much time as most people on moh, waw not so much but that, i think most people feel, is just a bad game, even on the 360 and ps3. the conduit had great potential and COULD have been a great game, but they messed up. The lag in this game is even worse that moh imo because at least in moh you could get used to a really consistant lag and deal with it. Every game i join i have to lead differently and adjust. The weapons are even more unbalanced in this game and many more flaws. the mp5 doesn't reload, the strike rifle can just go through people if it's a laggy game or hit you around a corner if someone else is laggy. the spas and scar are the only two guns that seem to constantly register and even they don't seem to be very reliant. you can't party up, wiispeak is a fail, and the only thing public offers is marathon explosives on streets. i just don't understand how this is a very fun game. maybe i'm missing something, maybe i'm just being sinnical, but i can't stand playing this game for more than a half hour to an hour before i have to turn it off.

PillowTEC and i were talking the other day about how on MoH we could play that game for literally hours and not get bored, it was true. As simple as that game was, if you were a good player it actually mattered. the maps were simple and the graphics sucked, there was lag and the nades had way too long of a timer, but at least other than the karabiner, most guns actually killed like how they should and you didn't feel an urge to kick a small baby or someone who helped to develope the game because of the multitude of flaws in the game.

I'm not saying go back to MoH, it's a dead game, but i don't think we've really made any sort of step forward with this game. the only positive i can take from this game is the fact that the company actually took some advice from the community and tried (to what degree is arguable) to build it into their game. personally, this game is a massive massive dissapointment.

that's kinda my stance dru, it has potential to be a good game but it isn't that fun most of the time because of all the male cattle dung you have to deal w/ just to finally get one good game in. in MoH, it was all smiles almost all the time. w/ CoD and Conduit, i find myself frustrated and unhappy almost every time i play. i only played CoD for about a month before i gave up on it. i hope it doesn't end up like that w/ the conduit. it seems to be getting better about lag than it was at launch but i can only play so many explosive matches, and i actually like the noob tube in this game if it's not on streets or infirmary. maybe i just suck right now and i'll have more fun when i figure out how to play consistently well.

hopefully, but i get the feeling that that may not be the case. i just feel like there isn't much to enjoy in this game. the only thing i find fun in public is near/far on warehouse or streets if there isn't very many people. most of the other weapon sets are too unbalanced for me. in private games the lag seems to be much less, but again, without an invite system it's hard to get a game going. having to get on here or a chat to get a game going shouldn't be something i have to do. also, kinda random here, but what is the point of the crappy ass spectate feature? you're spawning in 5 seconds so we're going to lag the server up some more by having everyone try to spectate eachother when they die? and then if you want to switch who you're watching, half the time it takes so long that your respawn timer restarts. can we please have an invite system instead of that? :l

i <3 warehouse and near/far. the thing i don't understand is how when i go to vote for the weapons/rules/maps, there can be 3-4 votes for a choice and it picks something else. why the **** are we voting if it doesn't go with the one w/ the most votes?

did this turn into the "**** about conduit" morning btw? lol
