not my responsibility im done dealing with all the stubborn kids im too old for this crap

continue with what you are doing, it is only resulting in the death of the wii community

fact is you people blame the game instead of admitting that you suck

on every other system people can handle nades, only on the wii do the noobs go nuts

you act like people are invincible just because they are near a nade depot.  maybe you should use your team, or maybe you should try NOT letting them see you on the radar...

3 games in a row you people have consistently banned strategy and promoted only running around with the b button.  only on the wii do people avoid strategy

and dont blame the delay on me, i specifically told a WIIUNITE ADMIN to create the ladder forum, but no one did.  it isnt my job to promote this site, i dont have a rank here.  i got the process started and apparantly no one wants to finish, so who cares, you are all wasting your time

also i need to say that grenade depots are typically found on either side of a map... if you are on the opponents side of the map, you should expect a barage of weaponry.  if you walk alone into north korea youll get owned

if an opponent gets to your grenade depot, it means that your defense has failed and you need to regroup to take it over

it is similar to the human weapon set with the bazooka.  you can whine about the bazooka or you can gaurd the damn thing and centralize your strategy around the bazooka...

if UN JERK sits on his own side of the base camping with grenades, he shouldnt generate kills.  hes only going to get kills if your team is full of morons.  force him to run out into the middle and fight like a man

and for ASE games, clearly it takes more than crossing your fingers and running into enemy territory.  execute your attacks well like they do in any other game...

i mean, its not rocket science.  weve been to the moon for crying out loud and you guys cant figure out how to counter grenades, even after all these years and games??

Even though I don't war myself anymore, I have to say I agree with Zzz. The game shouldn't be reduced to a guns-only, minimally strategic game which bans the use of advanced techniques. The potential for developing great players is low in this environment. I was expecting to see some great montages (and play with people who are capable of making plays) with tons of grenade sticks and crazy shotgun-canceling sprees but I don't see much chance of that anymore. I hope you all can find enjoyment out of the game you have ruined.

Alright Zzz.... would you care to 2v2 me and a partner against you and a partner... grenades allowed? I'd like to see how you counter grenades. And just for the lulz, I won't shoot my gun and I'll set my grenade button to B.... let's see who wins.

The concept of using the nade depot to your advantage is absurd zzz.  There's no strategy in that.  And the one your talking about is either a team goes and commits suicide by attaking the campers, or both teams camp in fear of being bombarded by nades resulting in a stupid draw or a small ammount of deaths from the stragglers trying to make it to the camp point.

I'm going to get flamed for this most likely, but I agree with Zzz.

It takes two frag grenades to kill someone.  It takes one direct hit (where it sticks) with a Radiation grenade to kill.  Flash grenades are annoying.

So use them.  It's dumb not to.  I'm surprised that the SMAW hasn't been banned yet-- it's a one-shot kill, after all.  If we're trying to outlaw overpowered weapons, then the Deatomizer, Strike Rifle, Warp Pistol SMAW, SPAS, and SCAR should all be banned, because they can kill in one hit.

That's dumb.  The only reason people want grenades banned is that everyone can hold six of them.  Here's the solution to avoiding grenades: don't get in range.  Every gun class has a main weapon that can kill someone from long distances, so USE THAT WEAPON.

GB is a joke.  The community on WU as well as GF is uninteresting because of GB.  There are hardly any flame wars because there's no point to arguing in public.  There are hardly any clan rivalries.  The games that the Wii has aren't the greatest, but MoH wasn't different by any means.  We made the game into what we craved instead of begging the developers to do it for us.  GB has sucked the life out of competitive play, and we've done nothing about it but condone it.

I'm all for a community ladder.  GB is and has always been a failure.

Turboweasle, I'm not sure how much you play the conduit but...

Streets: stay away from the windows , throw nades at stairs, go back to ammo spot, repeat (streets isn't as bad as other maps tho).

Warehouse: Nade spam isn't a huge issue here.

Complex: how can you get them from a range? the grenades are like perfectly set up to get spammed at, there's a high point (which you can't shoot the other high point from because your too high up to see them), a low point, where you get nade spammed to death, and then the other high point where the nade station is.

Pentagon: Depending on how smart the team is, you can grab the grenades and then camp back in the rooms near where the ASE would be in team objective.. going to restock ammo you could get sniped yes, but just because people are nade spamming doesnt mean they don't have a gun either, they can snipe you back too :|

Bunker: Yeah, no way you're going snipe someone here.... enough said.

Sanctum: Yeah, the one upstairs isn't a huge issue... easily snipe them there... but then high voltage thought to themselves "how the hell are they gonna nade spam on this map", so they decided to put one right in the bottom floor so people could camp there and spam.

Infirmary, sniping here?? Not going to happen...  grab the grenades chuck them at hallways and run back to your safely wall-surrounded Ammo box.

Fact is, we allow grenades... it will turn into a match like this:

My team kills yours first, we run back to the ammo, we camp... and we're at a restock advantage.

So don't go up the stairs.  Throw a flash through the second-story window and come in through there.  Problem solved.  Also, maybe you should spam nades through the windows yourself.  Just a thought.

So don't go down into their base.  Most of the fighting is in the middle of the map, where the SCAR is your main problem.  Problem solved.

So be the better sniper?  Spam nades into their base?  If they're dumb enough to allow themselves to be bottled in, use that to your advantage.  There are two ways to get into their base, as well as two floors with very good vantage points for sniping that go directly to their base.  Use them.  Problem solved.

Are you kidding?  Bunker is a great place to snipe.  It's got two floors and windows everywhere.  It's a sniper's dream.

Map control.  Get there first.  Or you could spam nades back.  Afro

You're right-- long, straight hallways are terrible for sniping.  Roll Eyes

So don't let that happen.  Get the first kill or learn how to counter.  You can nade-spam too, you know.
