Hey all.  I just wanted to tell you all why I've been acting rather argumentative these past few weeks.

No, I'm not on my period, as I'm sure a few of you might have humored to yourselves.  In reality, I acted this way because of school.  Psychology, to be exact.

Two weeks ago, my Psychology teacher assigned a paper based off of observations.  Our subjects, he elaborated, must not be aware of our intent in order to get truthful data.

More specifically, he wanted us to observe how people react to a certain stimulus, particularly when in groups.  I thought, "What better place to observe other peoples' reactions than the internet?"  And thus my study began.

Although my teacher did not set us to observe one particular stimulus, I knew what I would observe.  I would observe reactions of individuals as well as a group when a ridiculous and insulting remark is made to them: otherwise known (on teh intrawebz) as "flaming".

I set my brain to work immediately.  In what ways could I flame someone without them knowning my cause?  Simple: Medal of Honor.  The game is undoubtably the biggest source of drama in my life.  A little added drama on my part wouldn't terribly surprise anyone.

However, I still needed scenarios through which I could craft my observation.  The opportunity presented itself: Dreamr and Heat tbagging me.  In all truth, I neither laughed nor got angry.  I simply sad in awe as a perfect chance for flaming arose.  You know the rest of that story.

The data I acquired from this, though, was lacking.  The turnout was not as large as I anticipated, and the arguements weren't quite heated enough.  I moved on to my next subject- DanOceans1.  To this day I have only played Dan twice; neither time did he team up.  I guessed that, if provoked, the relatively new member would return the fight, I hoped with more ferocity.  My aspirations were again thwarted, or so I thought, by a mature personality.  A blessing appeared with Seth (n 12 4 3).

Seeing that I had another chance for more data, I flamed again.  BC members came to my rescue, although with terse words.  Still, I noted that people, especially when associated with one another, tend to take the same attitude as their peers or icons.  Nothing ground-breaking, but a nice find.

Again a situation presented itself in Ls's game last night.  I died a few times, spammed commands, and acted like an ass in general.  Then I came to Wii Unite, and that topic is still visible, so I will not go into detail here.  But I again noted that peoples' opinions and attitudes depend heavily on their peers; and, more precisely,  that they tend to defend the one being attacked, even if they are neutral towards the person.

So, I wrote my paper, turned it in, and recieved a 98.  Thanks to the following:  Dreamr, Holykilla, Heatmaster9, DanOceans1, BC, PillowTEC, and various others.  I'm sorry I had to go about it so bluntly, but please understand that it was all a ruse.  I have never, and never shall I, purposely and sincerely attack someone over a game.  I hope I did not deeply offend anyone, but if I did, I offer my apologies.  Thank you for all participating (whether or not it was voluntary.  XD) in my study, and I appreciate your understanding.

Yeah.  I didn't want to flame you, Holy, but I had to turn it in today, and I needed one more scenario.  ;_;
