Does anyone else have it? The first few weeks I had so much fun with it but now no one plays online.
I kinda feel like playing it now

No it's not an FPS, it's like a 3rd person strategy game (but a cool one) where you can control infantry/tanks/planes/boats and stuff. It has decent online modes and good graphics. Some people like these games and some people hate em. Heres a random picture

BW was better than BWii.
Because the balancing went in the wrong way. Especially the normalization of damage - it made my pen0r very sad when I couldn't tip over/completely **** a Heavy Tank with a Missile Vet.
Naval units felt tact on as well as the only instances that you could use them were on straight, shore-hugging maps.
And after a while the story felt really fruity and boring. It was pretty much in the same boat Lethal Weapon was when the formula behind the plot evolved very little from the source material. Xylvania got raped, they set up a global conflict and attacked after everyone's beaten the eight shades of crap out of each other so they team up to take them down. oh
I was super depressed when I saw that there was little to no game play of the Iron Legion (which was the most bad ass part of BW) and that the Assault and Skirmish modes were held back either by poor unit balancing or lag.
lol player-controlled Frigates that never die and the Battlestation on that crappy IL Assault Map that was supposed to be countered by one/two Gunships when the Solars only had missile vets to down Legion fighters. :(

Thanks for the well thought out response. I liked BW's last level a lot, where you climb up the mountain and take over the last Xylvanian base. There were a lot of fun levels in BW. I dont really remember how balanced everything was though because I only rented that game for a week and that was like 2 years ago. And after a while the story felt really fruity and boring. I know what you're saying here. It was really stupid when I kept hearing General Akira annouce that he was sending an enemy tank or gunship in my direction, basically telling me which unit to bring out ensuring his own defeat. Also on the last level when they all team up, the Solar Empire gives me nothing but 2 anti air vehicles. O THX Those last levels were really long too =/ I was super depressed when I saw that there was little to no game play of the Iron Legion (which was the most bad ass part of BW) and that the Assault and Skirmish modes were held back either by poor unit balancing or lag.
The Iron Legion levels in BW were challenging The best level in BW2 has to be the one where you guard the Battlestation then eventually use it. The concept art of the Iron Legion is pretty sick, idk if you've unlocked it. I have more fun playing Co-op than skirmish/assault.

The concept art of the Iron Legion is pretty sick, idk if you've unlocked it. I have more fun playing Co-op than skirmish/assault. I've unlocked everything in BW and BWii. The only mission I don't have 100/100/100 S on is The Reckoning but that's only because they made the technique expectations stupidly high. They just put 15000 Xylvanian Battlestations on the map and expect your weaker units that drive up your ass outside of Sentry mode to not-get raped(oh wait, they got rid of that after BW, so I guess it's Defense Mode now). To make matters worse once you get to the mining spider that shoots lasers literally everywhere over the humping map Strato Destroyers/Fighters spawn infinitely and **** your gunship/fighter reserves while the solar AA vehicles do **** all. And at the same time you're supposed to drive along the outside of the spider to chase down the 1-2 Heavy Tanks/grunts necessary for 100% power. I don't know why but just everything felt worse after the playing the first game. Flight animations felt ridiculously cartoony (in the first game it didn't feel like you were controlling a hovering boat) and the barrel roll ability added to fighters basically made it so the only thing they can be killed by is other fighters. Assault Vets started to suck too, since the damage caused by holding it at 90% overheat was basically cut in half. Or maybe that's just another dork up caused by the damage normalization. Can't remember. Of the missions in BWii I only liked Operation Nautilus and that's basically just for the naval part.

Ive only beaten The Reckoning once and I havent bothered trying it again because it frustated me too much. I think I got a C rank Operation Nautilus was fun, thats the one were you take out his fleet then move through the city in the pouring rain. Sounds like I should get the first BW and play it again.

The thing that held the mission back is that they tried too hard to make it into an epic closing mission. Which is probably why they gave you control of a billion units.
I thought they'd sort of base it on Siege of the Vladstag where it has a bit of build up before a hectic but not stupidly frustrating finale.
