Title: Online Game Modes Post by: Hound, Grey Hound on March 27, 2011, 07:04:59 pm Ok, I know it seems like I'm really trying to get poeple to play this, because I am. O0
There are so many damn game modes for online, I can't keep up. It seems everytime I get invited or my posse leader switches, it's a different game. Now, that being said, most revolve around two styles: Your posse against the CPU or Posse v. Posse. Granted it is 3rd person, but still fun. One thing I like is swithing game modes is about as simple as can be. You can go seamlessly from game to game. And I'm not whipping a dead horse BTW, most of the time there are 8-10 poeple in each server. Max is 16; and 8 can be in the same posse. scrolling to the bottom of that page gives you a description of the games. The competitve modes are player vs player up to 8 v 8. The co-op are exactly that: everyone against the computer to complete the objective Here are links to the specific DLC pages with more info. I still haven't tried everything yet. They come in a pack on the PS store, all 3 for $20 or $10 each. http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption/dlc/undead This is a blast, my son likes it better than COD zombies. http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption/dlc/liars http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption/dlc/legends This one is free http://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption/dlc/outlaws Title: Re: Online Game Modes Post by: Dusster on March 30, 2011, 02:57:38 pm I'm still waiting to play Undead...
before I switched acct's I had most of the co-op missions golded...the free roam sometimes sucked cuz you'd get 1 guy with all the good guns just harassing you... Title: Re: Online Game Modes Post by: TH3 NAZ1 on March 31, 2011, 04:32:12 am Can you play RDR:UN online? If so I'll get it.
Title: Re: Online Game Modes Post by: Hound, Grey Hound on April 11, 2011, 10:47:40 pm It does have an offline mode which I still haven't played since I got it back. I think I only had about 20% progress done, maybe that much.
And...still none of you online when I am. larloll got it and he's been playing the heck out of it since he got it back. Mostly online stuff. The co-op stuff is kind of cool, you pick a "class" of player to complete the missions. Yesterday, I played some hearding cattle mission where you need to get the heard to the ranch, killing the outlaws along the way and not loosing to many cattle. Another is rescue the kidnapped girl, go in rescue her and get her to safety. I haven't played the others yet. But again, they are 4 players, pick your class, revive a downed team mate and that type of stuff. Title: Re: Online Game Modes Post by: Dusster on April 12, 2011, 02:57:10 pm The Ammunition one is a ****! Cannons & gatling guns surrounding the fort...if you're trying for gold it can get tough to beat in the time limit. |
