Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Laughing Turd on November 14, 2011, 09:57:08 pm Well that was quick.
now tell me where i can sell those dragon scales and bones. i got plenty of that and i know it can fetch a purty penny. you seen any buyers that pay top dollar? Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Laughing Turd on November 14, 2011, 09:57:50 pm also, what do you do with your spare equipment. ive had to drop a lot of stuff that i would have liked to save or sale at another time instead.
Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Turboweasle on November 14, 2011, 10:00:38 pm Dragon bones and such I just sold to a merchant in Whitehelm or whatever. Wasn't too concerned about money.
And if you buy a house, you can store stuff in chests inside it. Houses cost a bit, though. Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Ress on November 14, 2011, 10:05:52 pm You guys talking aboot Runescape?
Just sell it at a general store. Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Laughing Turd on November 14, 2011, 10:06:47 pm oh at helgan? i haven't really found any other places with houses for sale.
oh well, i dont have money for that either. i keep on spending it all getting trained by random people. Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Turboweasle on November 14, 2011, 10:12:18 pm Probably a better investment, really. Houses aren't useful until about midgame.
Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Laughing Turd on November 14, 2011, 10:17:34 pm oh and while you're here, how do i heal myself up completely? I have like 2 arrows sticking out of my arm and an ice spear through my torso and they wont go away with the restore power. also everyone i pass by tells me i look sick.
am i supposed to take some kind of potion? Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Turboweasle on November 14, 2011, 10:26:18 pm I think it's just a glitch, it happened to me too. And if the NPCs are saying you look sick, you probably have some sort of disease. Press start, go over to general stats, and scroll down to see if you've contracted any diseases. If you have, find a chapel and pray to the alter that's in there and it'll fix you up.
Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Paranoid71 on November 14, 2011, 10:30:26 pm best gameee ever.
My destruction is at like 75 now, lightning bolt and shock is a ridiculous combo with high enough magicka. the riverwood guy buys a lot of stuff by the way Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Turboweasle on November 14, 2011, 10:32:43 pm Yeah, magic feels pretty powerful right now. I can kill most people before they're close enough to damage me.
Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Laughing Turd on November 14, 2011, 10:43:07 pm wtf? that sucks. thats why i didnt want to choose one of those all magic races. its all about taking them out from afar.
i like cqc with the axes. Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Turboweasle on November 14, 2011, 10:46:53 pm My mage generally runs with a Steel War Axe in one hand and a spell in the other. When an enemy whiffs, I got in for a special animation kill.
Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Tiger on November 15, 2011, 12:36:52 am I haven't played this but in Oblivion I used the bow and arrow 24/7. Have any of you tried that, and has the accuracy improved? It was sort of off-centered on the 360 version (maybe PS3 as well?) in Oblivion and was wondering if they fixed that.
Title: Re: Skyrim! Post by: Turboweasle on November 15, 2011, 11:41:32 am I never noticed it being off-center in Oblivion, so maybe it was just the 360 version. I also had a few Bosmer archer characters, specializing in Stealth and Archery, so I had a good feel for it. Haven't really played around with it in Skyrim too much. I'll test it out and see what it's like. From what I've seen, though, it looks like archery is much more viable than it was in Oblivion. |
