Pretty damn funny lol This is my favorite one that they posted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt5aUdijAN8&feature=player_embedded Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: JabbaScrub on November 16, 2011, 11:54:59 am Hahahahaha nice
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on November 16, 2011, 12:18:11 pm The video you posted isn't a glitch.
If someone put a bucket over your head, you wouldn't be able to see, either. Granted, you'd also take the bucket off your head. But it isn't a glitch, the AI is just a bit dumb. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: MEX on November 16, 2011, 12:22:01 pm Yeah I know it's not a glitch, but IGN had it in their article and it was the funniest one that they had. I just copied the name of their article for the topic.

Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: IRSmoh on November 18, 2011, 01:02:41 am More fun glitch? Rock climbing. Just jump onto any steep walls and your character will cling to them.. Takes awhile to climb mountains either way.. but this is mildly faster :P
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: MsTrixie13 on November 18, 2011, 11:32:39 am Wow thats legit!.. lol i wonder what would happen if we could do that in real life >.< :o

Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on January 06, 2012, 01:49:16 am Speaking of glitches, does anyone know if any more patches are coming out in the near future? I have a few quests that have glitched... kinda wish I could do them. (Besides making a new file)
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on January 06, 2012, 11:02:07 am I haven't heard anything, but I'll keep an eye on the GF Skyrim board over the next few weeks.
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: the KR3AT3R on January 06, 2012, 12:08:59 pm What has ****ed me off the past few days is that I accidentally pick up a quest item from a random location and when I finally get to the person who sends me on the quest it sends me back to the location where the supposed item should be but obviously it isn't there because I have it on my person, but it also won't let me give it to them, so I'm stuck with the dead weight and the quest in my journal. >:(
inb4holyrunonsentancebatman :P Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on January 06, 2012, 03:52:32 pm Are you serious?
Man, I've been getting a bit tired of Dark Souls lately, but I don't want to invest time into Skyrim if it's just going to cause frustration. They need to fix this crap. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on January 07, 2012, 12:59:43 am Game of the Year with all these glitches... eh. :/
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: DoubleGunz on January 07, 2012, 09:46:50 am Exactly. It's not. b)
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on January 07, 2012, 05:49:49 pm I'm not sure this is a glitch but I have a question. I broke out of the jail to get the achievement/trophy but now I don't have any of my possessions which are probably worth 40,000 Gold. I found a box in the Guard's barracks that said "Hero's Possessions" or something but its a master or expert lock and I don't have any lockpicks... I pressed A (360) on it and the quest item "Retrieved possessions: completed" popped up and I have nothing still... did I just get fucked over?
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: the KR3AT3R on January 07, 2012, 07:06:00 pm I suggest going back and loading a previous autosave and seeing if it will take you back to before you got tossed in jail.
Also, for future reference, it's better to flee when they ask you to go to jail or pay a bounty. In doing so your bounty will increase, but after you're safe, go stash your belongings into a safe chest and keep only your gold. Go back to the place where you have a bounty and just simply pay it and that way you don't lose any items. For some reason they take certain things away from you when you pay off a bounty wether or not they're stolen items. It's weird. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on January 08, 2012, 03:49:06 am Well the only items I've ever stolen are ingredients that people have told me to collect... and I'm too lazy to go searching for them. Yeah, I just loaded a previous save that was five hours prior to the incident... had to beat Alduin again. :D
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on January 08, 2012, 08:12:37 am Yeah, I have a few items that are stuck in my inventory for the same reason, K. Also, I read somewhere that the quest items do not add to your weight... that they only have a weight mentioned to seem more realistic. I haven't tested that out yet by removing everything.
The glitch that really annoyed me was when I was finished with the quest for the Temple of Meridia. She takes you up in the air to talk to you. At the end of it she is supposed to let you go gently and you float to the ground. Well, instead... she threw me to the ground. I had to reload a few times until it worked out. I also read somewhere that a dragon will sometimes come by at eat you while she is talking to you in the the air, lol. I think it is irritating to have the thing in my journal that I already did.... such as retrieving that Red Sword (started when you read the book entitled the same). Oh, and I got all of the Stones of Barenziah!!! After I gave all the stuff to Vex I got an ability to find more gems in urns and chests. It is out of control. I have flawless gems coming out of my EARS!!! Seriously, I was in the double digits after just one cave quest! (Not a glitch, I know... but still noteworthy!) Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: the KR3AT3R on January 08, 2012, 12:03:25 pm Sweet! I wish I could find merchants with enough gold to buy some of the expensive items I harbor. Maybe I'm just a pack rat. :-\
And yes, I have done that red sword quest twice too. >:( Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on January 08, 2012, 06:46:58 pm I normally travel to about 3-4 different cities before I sell off all of my stuff. I have noticed that the blacksmiths seem to have the most money. I also have invested in quite a few businesses (a perk) and they then have more money when you are selling things. Also, my wife is a merchant so I not only am able to sell her many things but she also gives me a portion of the profits. Boo ya.
I don't know how I am going to sell off all of these gems, tho. It is outrageous. I also have the perk where you get more "special" items in chests so I always have a ton to sell. I have so much gold that it is unreal. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: the KR3AT3R on January 08, 2012, 08:00:40 pm I assume that you've already gotten the trophy for having 100,000 gold? I'm close. I currently have about 83,000 but I also have about another 50,000 - 60,000 worth of items in chests all over Skyrim that needs to be sold. :-\
Also, I didn't know about the blacksmiths carrying gold. I've never tried selling anything to them. It's on now! ^-^ Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on January 09, 2012, 12:02:22 am I usually have a lot of Dragon Bones and Dragon Scales which can be frustrating because of their weight. I don't have the achievement for 100,000 gold but I read about a camp... Angi's camp I believe it's called and you can get 6 free Archery skills from her after doing her little practice games... no matter which levels. I just finished Lv. 96-100 with it (I read about it and realized I'd get the most value by waiting til the end). Got the achievement for that now. :P
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on January 09, 2012, 06:29:20 am Yeah, I got the achievement for 100k gold awhiiiile ago. I am already close to 200k gold right now. That is WITH spending 10k per training session at each level also. It doesn't help that I am Imperiall and have Imperial Luck... giving me the natural ability to find more gold than the other races.
Also I have a few things stored up but I mostly sell things right away. I have a weapons combo that I love (a sword that freezes and the Nightingale sword - freeze them then steal their health/stamina) and also a mace that absorbs souls. When I am getting low on refills for my two swords I just break out my mace and load up some more gems. ^-^ I also permanently wear the thieve's guild armor and some awesome elven boots that give me much more carrying capacity. I also usually have a companion that travels with me when I am trying to sell things or do minor quests. I usually make him/her hold my random heavy things. I think Mauricio is the funniest companion. He makes fun of other players and has a very sarcastic sense of humor. He is a hired companion out of the pub in Riften! Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: the KR3AT3R on January 09, 2012, 10:30:58 am I like to use a few different weapons. I made an ebony warhammer that dishes out 23 pts of fire damage, a glass greatsword that fills soul gems, an ebony battleaxe that absorbs 11 pts of health, an an ebony bane that also fills a soulgem. For the dragons and opponents that I want to keep at distance I use the staff of fireballs (the one that does 50 pts of damage in a 15 ft radius). My armor witches between glass armor that regenerates health 17% faster, ebony armor that does the same, archmage robes, a glass shield that absorbs 35% damage, gauntlets that increases double handed weapons by 30% (or switch to a necklace that increases one handed attacks to 30%), a ring that I made that increases carrying capacity, a mask that increases magika, health, & stamina and also makes destruction/regeneration spells cost less to use, and boots that muffle my sound. I bet I could kick your bum girly! :P
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on January 09, 2012, 04:28:25 pm Haha.... not if you are a frozen hunk of ice (which is how I beat most high level NPCs). I LOOOVE the way I look in all Nightengale armor. It's pretty boss.
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on January 10, 2012, 02:04:01 am Since I think I have the perk (or at least will) for having a complete set of matching armor (gives 25% bonus), I have all Elven armor at the moment with my helmet enchanment giving +20% to bow damage. Of course, you guys have had the game a lot longer than I have so it would make sense you're ahead of me. I just got an Ebony boy from a Draugr Deathlord with a few Ebony arrows which are basically the best in the game. (I haven't worked at smithing so the Daedric bow doesn't look like it's gonna happen)
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on January 10, 2012, 03:46:09 pm I just got an Ebony boy from a Draugr Deathlord Racist. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on January 10, 2012, 05:42:27 pm Lmao, woops. xD Look at the time I wrote that... give me a little slack. :P
*bow Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: MsTrixie13 on February 10, 2012, 02:46:02 pm I got Skyrim... i don't know what's so great about it.. it's just like Morrorwind.
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on February 11, 2012, 11:54:22 pm No it's not.
Unless you mean to say that it's a sandbox game like Morrowind, in which case you're being silly. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: MsTrixie13 on February 14, 2012, 12:50:17 pm Lol.. well.. i don't really know.. it's an okay game for me.
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on February 14, 2012, 01:38:28 pm I think it's an "okay" game all around.
It can be incredibly fun or incredibly tedious. It all depends on how much of your own imagination you're willing to use to supplement the game world. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on February 14, 2012, 01:46:44 pm ^ That.
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on February 15, 2012, 12:56:05 am Lol.. well.. i don't really know.. it's an okay game for me. It depends on your tastes. If you like fast-paced games like Hoop, it's probably not the best game for you. If you like customizatizing the weapons, armour, offensive stats, defensive stats and buying/selling items (like most RPGs have), then it's a relatively good game. I played it, understood why people loved it, but it didn't fall into my favourite 3 games of all time. Usually games that give me nostalgia fill that though.Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: MsTrixie13 on February 19, 2012, 03:29:45 pm ^ agreed. O0

Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on March 04, 2012, 08:19:36 pm Well that settles it. I'm never touching Skyrim again.

Also, an excellent game for wasting time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvYEIvyuHIc&feature=related 8-bit (ish) with very minimal microtransactions. :) :) Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on March 06, 2012, 09:54:11 pm Today I ran into the skinny dipping hunters, haha. Have you guys seen them? Two ladies and one guy laying around in their underwear in what appears to be some hot springs. You can see their clothes to the side and stuff. It **** me up!
Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on March 06, 2012, 10:17:04 pm Nah, I haven't come across them yet. Where were they?
Today I was trekking to Winterhold on a new character and came across a mammoth that was partially embedded in a glacier. Thought it was kind of cool. Didn't have much time to admire the attention to detail though because a snow saber cat attacked me. :( Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on March 06, 2012, 10:48:40 pm It is east of Fort Amol. Here is a vid:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8-g1ANTers As a side note, dude... there are a lot of pervs who post Skyrim vids. I saw one that was modified so that all the women ran around COMPLETELY unclothed. I don't even know how that is possible... (1 trophy away from my platty... ) Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Turboweasle on March 06, 2012, 11:07:16 pm Ah, right, I think I've seen that video before.
And yeah, the PC players can install user-created modifications (usually just called mods) to change the game a lot, and the no-clothes package is usually one of the first to come out. People are weird. Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: June on March 06, 2012, 11:17:29 pm Title: Re: Nuttiest Skyrim Glitches Post by: Tiger on March 09, 2012, 04:53:37 am I had the funniest glitch (though you probably had to be there to find it funny) recently. I was traveling near Winterhold where you go to try and find Karliah with Mercer Frey during the Thieves Guild and out of no where a dead horse came from the sky and landed in front of me. It startled me like crazy and then I laughed for a minute or two. xD I thought it could've been a giant hitting it but near Winterhold, there aren't any giants. My brother also had a glitch happen to him when he was on the Throat of the World. (I didn't see it, he just told me about it) While confronting Paarthunax, during the middle of one of his monolouges he got up and span in circles into the sky until his voice coudln't even be heard anymore (my brother uses captions since he's 50% deaf) and then flew back down morphing into the mountain, still going in circles. And as of fixed glitches (Patch 1.4) they finally fixed the Thieves Guild quest where Brynjolf was stuck in the stall in the center of Riften, distracting the market people. I finally was able to complete the Thieves Guild on my main account. :P |
