Well for starters, anyone who buys Anarchy Reigns and plays it with me before school starts again instantly gets promoted to high tier.

What else?
Remember to not be a casual.

Summon up all the casual thoughts in your head.

Then do the opposite of all of them.

Alternatively, think "What would Autumn do?" then, do not do that thing.

**** your tiers
Tiers are very important. You can still win against an opponent with a higher tier character, or a match up that's not in your favor, but the odds are definitely not in your favor. For every one mistake you make, your opponent will have to make several for you to come out on top.

Of course it depends on the game. Marvel Vs Capcom tiers are vastly more punishing then, say, Guilty Gear or Vampire Savior tiers.

Oh, ok. I could see that. He is endearing in a "heavy breathing coming from your closet as you change your clothes" kind of way.

Okay, that random suggestion of Dodonpachi off the top of my head gave me an idea.

http://www.mediafire.com/?i5wxelwpcu8efw8

HERE'S ONE OF MY ARCADE MACHINE EMULATORS WITH DODONPACHI 3 ON IT. CONSIDERED THE BEST GAME IN THE SERIES BY SOME.

I challenge you all to make it to stage 4 on one quarter, take a screenshot of your score, and post it here. Like so:

Anyone who can make it to stage 4 on one credit will immediately go up to high tier. Anyone who makes it to stage 5 or defeats the fake final boss (true final boss is only for professionals) on one credit will be promoted to god tier.

Game and emulator instructions
Running the emulator

-Click on Mame64.exe to launch
-After you confirm your ok with the settings, Press TAB when the game starts to access the emulator options
-From there you can change your controls from Input (this game)
-Press 5 on your keyboard to enter a quarter, Press 1 to start game
-Saving screenshots is defaulted to the Home key, but you can change it in Input (general)

Game instructions

-There are two buttons. Shoot, and bomb.
-Hitting shoot or rapidly tapping it unleashes a stream of normal bullets. Holding down shoot causes you to do a straight laser, and also slows down your movement for more precision.
-Bomb gives you invulnerability and wipes out enemies and bullets on screen. Use it as a defensive last resort, as you have a limited number of them.
-Using a bomb during a laser attack will do a super laser, which does not wipe out all enemies, but gives you a short burst of invulnerability and does massive damage. Best for bosses.
-Getting a large score may cause a hyper item to appear. Using it will temporarily increase power of all attacks, but will also increase in game difficulty till the next bomb you use.
-Remember that only a small, almost pixel size area of your ship in the core of your movement is vulnerable. Do not be afraid to squeeze through tight patterns.
Yup. If I was feeling cruel I would probably just demand you all play PSO2 with me or go to bottom.

Speaking of which, my character is still the best.

Oh really.

I haven't played any of the games. Maybe I should.

I know one of the characters is based on Cave Corporation, and that Falcom's Company's representative is basically a gender swapped Christin Adol (except no longer a silent protagonist).

Imo the game sounds more amusing. Sounds more fun as a quirky role playing game then an anime. Anime might be funny though, especially if they include a lot of game references and in-jokes.

I think most games shouldn't be shoe horned into animes, unless it's a spin off or contributes to the lore of the series. I haven't watched it, but I hate hate hate the idea of Persona 4 The Animation, since the game was perfect and perfectly designed and written to work and be powerful as a role playing game (as are all the Shin Megami Tensei games).

Also what I saw of the fight scenes kinda ****ed me off. Remember how in the game, Earthly Deity (Ameno Sagiri) was a badass climactic boss fight where you had to employ strategy and cunning as you fought him for over an hour while one of the best tracks in the ost played (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG8DUkn06-s/), all while he trash talked you about how humankind sucks throughout the fight, and leaves you with sweating palms when you finally killed him with all your magic and hp exhausted?

Nah let's just invoke the power of friendship and summon a deus ex machina Lucifer and curb stomp him.

Blazblue is probably the only one I'd be interested in (even though I'm not the biggest fan of the game), since the way the story was told and presented would work perfectly as an anime. Not to mention that aesthetically the game is basically a big pile of anime homages.

Also you need to play more video games Handy. NOW GO PLAY RAYFORCE.

It was mediocre. They went animu original ending while it aired, and later fixed it in an OVA. Though they did a good job with the King's Game segment. And all dem MC faces throughout.

It annoys me because I have a friend who doesn't wanna play the game because he already watched the anime. But the game is a zillion times better then the anime by far.
