Title: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 07, 2013, 10:09:21 pm Most of the MOHH2 hacks seen in Multiplayer have now been released for Campaign. Use your favorite Homebrew cheat downloader or got to geckocodes to get the hacks. The weapon swap codes (e.g. shoot Panzer rounds through .45) will be coming soon! I hope you enjoy playing around with these hacks. Feel free to email PM me if you have any questions or comments. Man I miss multiplayer MOHH2. :-[ I had contacted EA and informed them that that I was interested in taking over hosting for the MOHH2 server. I was informed that there was absolutely no way that they would be able to do that. Well, at least I received a MOH themed PC gaming keyboard as a consolation prize. b)

and thanks for making multiplayer a horrible experience for many when you were flying around the maps like a wicked witch of the East with the fully auto zooka. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 07, 2013, 10:22:14 pm I never used an invincibility hack. I only aimed to make the game more challenging. Believe it or not, I received many emails from other players thanking me for making the game more challenging. Nothing like trying to killl someone that is out of bounds but able to be killed.

Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 07, 2013, 10:35:09 pm Although I never saw it, I never made hacks like The Virus supposedly did - Nuke. My intention was never to destroy the game. By the time I came around, the popularity of the game had slowed way down. I was merely adding variety. I didn't care about my ranking. I just wanted to push the game to its limits.

Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Laughing Turd on June 07, 2013, 11:07:42 pm Well, I can't say it didn't make me cuss a few times, but in hindsight, it was all pretty funny stuff. Good times. Welcome back to the site by the way. I know you used to come by a few years back. Between you and The Virus, I'd easily say he was the worse. You literally couldn't play when he showed up.
It's a coincidence actually, because I was actually thinking recently that it'd be really, really cool if EA would let someone else host online matches on their personal servers. I really miss the game too, and it's a damn shame EA won't let you host. But now that you're here we might as well be a little nostalgic right? Is there anything you can tell us about the game since you've messed around with the code and stuff. I don't have anything specific I want to ask but I figured you might have some cool info or a story for us. Also tell us more about yourself. Why did you hack the game? Did you always hack or did you have any legit game profiles that we might have seen? Do you play any other systems and what is your profile for those? I was Laughing Turd in MoH, same as my name here in the forum. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: the KR3AT3R on June 07, 2013, 11:16:36 pm My name was CYAINTHEHELL.
I didn't mind the variety myself. If it ever bothered me enough I would leave and find another server. It must have frustrated enough of the lesser skilled players though, enough to make them leave and never come back though. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 07, 2013, 11:25:34 pm @Laughing Turd.
Great to hear someone else misses this game. MOHH2 was the first game I ever hacked. Way back when the Wii first came out, I was playing Mario Kart Wii and started seeing a lot of strange things happening. I did some research and learned about Homebrew, GeckoOS and USB Gecko. I started messing around with WiiRD (Wii Remote Debugger) and gradually, with the help from the kind people in the WiiRD forums, I soon learned the beauty of the Power PC Assembly Code (ASM). With many hours of viewing code and memory dumps, I was finally able to become a proficient hacker. It's really just a fun hobby for me. It's basically a big logic puzzle with the prize of a great sense of accomplishment. The Multiplayer Campaign hack at the bottom of the page at geckocodes, for instance, was a 4 month labor of love. Unfortunately, it had a short life due to EA shutting down the MOHH2 server. After the 4 month hack's completion, I took a long break until just this week. It's all very taxing on the brain and is very time consuming. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 07, 2013, 11:28:11 pm My name was CYAINTHEHELL. It's interesting how you always asked me for the hacks, but you are the moderator for a forum that has members like you that pretend to be against hacking. I know you enjoyed the benefits of the hacks. So, let's be realistic. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Well, now you can use the same hacks you wanted in multiplayer but now in Campaign. They are still fun believe it or not. You could also look at the codes to learn techniques for hacking. Just think, the Gecko U for the WiiU may come out some day. Hard to tell. Nice to hear from you again. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: the KR3AT3R on June 07, 2013, 11:38:44 pm Lol, that's not my name, I was messing. :D
My name was the KR3AT3R. By the time you started hacking I played minimally because of MWR. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Laughing Turd on June 07, 2013, 11:40:12 pm See, I can understand that you get a sense of accomplishment from hacking a game and "putting the puzzle together" but what I don't understand about hackers is why you all have to jump online and make it hard for the regular joe that just wants to play the game without a fuss? It's irritating when all you want to do is play online and the entire lobby is jumping across the map or running at super speeds.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 07, 2013, 11:41:34 pm If anyone is interested, I'm going to start working on a reverse of the Multiplayer Campaign hack. It will be called MP Revisited. Basically, when you start a Campaign, the smaller Multiplayer maps that we all grew to love will load instead. I don't know if I'll ever get around to this, if it is even possible or what the outcome will be, but it would be interesting to see all of the NPCs crammed into a Multiplayer map. :D Also, if anyone used the Multiplayer hacks in Campaign, let me know what you think.

I really tried hard to make hacks that were fun and not destructive to the game. Maybe that's just impossible. I do understand what you're saying. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 07, 2013, 11:45:44 pm Lol, that's not my name, I was messing. :D My name was the KR3AT3R. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: The Krazy One on June 08, 2013, 12:27:35 am I don't think people even played through the campaign let alone play the game at all anymore. The "hacks" would be useless. I hated when people used glitches to screw up a lobby.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 08, 2013, 10:51:14 am I don't believe that that is true. Many gamers go back to games they haven't played in a while and poke around. It's fun to use the hacks, even in Campaign, to do things in the game that you normally can't. If you have Homebrew, you should give it a try. I'm not saying that it will revive playing MOHH2 Campaign, I'm merely saying that it's something interesting to try. To each his own. Also, strange that EA never released another Medal of Honor game for the Wii.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Termin8or on June 08, 2013, 10:58:30 am I can respect the effort you put into the hacks, etc., but I don't respect you for ruining the game. As long as 2 people were there to play the game as it was intended, you shouldn't have interfered with that. You and your cronies took away a number of potentially fun nights from us. You should never have brought that **** into other people's games.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: The Krazy One on June 08, 2013, 11:40:28 am I don't believe that that is true. Many gamers go back to games they haven't played in a while and poke around. Even though that's true, most of the people that got the game got it for the multiplayer. That would probably include most of the people here. The ones here that still have the game let alone still have a Wii probably won't be going back to the campaign. Never liked the whole homebrew thing since it could be used for evil. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Joker on June 11, 2013, 04:33:37 pm Oh yeah going against someone who was under the map was a blast!!!!!!1111
Tell you what, if you can hack and bring back MoH online then you will be okay in my book. Until then, you're just one of the many do I always thought hacks would make someone a better player. Thanks for proving me wrong. b) Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 12, 2013, 01:58:18 pm I was never concerned, obviously, with how good of a player I was. The stats meant nothing. I understand, you don't like (i.e. hate) hackers. Other than talking to EA about running the MOHH2 server, I haven't done anything to try to get Multiplayer back. I don't think that even the best of hackers could do that.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Ps358 on June 12, 2013, 02:13:46 pm Yes they could.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 12, 2013, 02:37:20 pm Yes they could. I guess that we just need to simply find that master hacker and we'll be back in business. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Ps358 on June 12, 2013, 02:51:16 pm I know a guy who could wipe out the entire EA server if not the Internet itself. Wii 'hackers' are like kids playing in a puddle compared to Xbox and Ps3 'hackers'.

In that case, maybe you can pitch in in trying to get MOHH2 multiplayer back on the air.... Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Ps358 on June 12, 2013, 03:40:23 pm No.

Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: TH3 NAZ1 on June 15, 2013, 04:01:32 am Man, I remember how much fun I had in the private matches we made, haha. I do have to say, some of those hacks were pretty funny, like the grenade spam hack where you would throw grenades EVERYWHERE and then they wouldn't explode until you did something to do so. But as far as serious games go, it was quite annoying to have a great game running at night, and then to have one of you hackers come in and ruin all of the fun.
-ownu911 was my name in MoH. Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 17, 2013, 12:18:17 pm The grenade hacks are available in the MOHH2 section at geckocodes. Probably one of the hardest things to find was the grenade timer.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: Tiger on June 18, 2013, 03:10:28 am I don't think you're going to get anyone here going back to play the campaign with hacks. I feel it's disrespectful considering how much hacking ruined.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 18, 2013, 03:13:10 pm Disrespectful to play hacks in campaign? If you don't want to, then don't.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: The Krazy One on June 18, 2013, 03:56:39 pm So what now? No one here plays the game anymore. We just reminisce the multiplayer days of 2007-2011.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 20, 2013, 02:02:22 pm Nothing wrong with that. Has anyone tried the hacks? I haven't posted the weapon swap hacks yet, but I was able to get the .45 to fire panzer rounds. However, because Campaign adds smoke trail effects, the game freezes if you fire too many rounds before the effects for the previous rounds have gone away. Also almost done with getting the multiplayer maps to load in campaign. Not as much fun as playing multiplayer but still interesting. I have also started researching how to possibly get multiplayer going again.
Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: The Krazy One on June 22, 2013, 02:48:54 pm I basically see this as like in the past with cheat codes put into a game genie, game shark or an action replay. Just that this time you have to hack your Wii to put these "codes" in.
If you get the analogy. But I don't think that anyone here hacked their Wii unless someone says otherwise. Quick question though. Would you be willing to participate in any other discussions found around the forums? The off-topic boards or any other gaming discussions perhaps? Title: Re: MOHH2 Multiplayer Hacks Released for Campaign! Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on June 23, 2013, 11:17:10 am I definitely will participate in any thread that is interesting. Also, thanks for the analogy.
