Megaman should have been in Melee. Glad to finally see him. O0

Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Kingdom Hearts 3 on Ps4, OMG, PS4 and WiiU are the way to go. Xbox shot themselves in the foot.

Lol, I don't think anyone would have guessed that she would be in there. When you posted that, I actually thought it was going to be a parody. :D

All I have to say after seeing Mega Man is GG

He should have been in Melee, arguably N64

Brawl was at least the start of adding non Nintendo created characters (Snake, Sonic). They wanted him in there, but were unable to get the rights iirc.

Yea, it's upsetting about Rare too. If they were never bought by Microsoft, I bet Banjo Kazooie and Conker both would have been in Melee. They had 2 spots open for them too, bottom left and bottom right, so they could've rearranged the layout of the characters. Oh well

Yeah, yeah. These sexualised pics are all over /v/. I don't go there a lot anymore though. Everyone there is 10 years old. I think I'm gonna have to give up playing games for fun.

Never give up fun. It's the only real reason to embrace any form of art or entertainment!

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS

IT'S TIME FOR WORK NOT FUN, BOI

But seriously, I feel that these things are for kids sometimes. I grew up on them and still like them but I can't shake that stigma. I wanna work on cars more but I definitely don't have the money for that lol.

This don't look like it's for kids, this loops dope.

Also I'm a firm believer that gameplay is an art form. My standard example is Contra 3: That the game is still fun, exciting, hype, and imaginative, ten years later and ten thousand playthroughs later is proof that the game is a work of art.

You can't bring Azns into the conversation. They operate on a different level entirely and are from a superior realm.

Also, I[m pretty sure I asked this but aren't you Azn?

Ok here's something legit cool then

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVTdAOb54xI

This is my favorite fighting game session in history. This is top level gameplay of the best fighter ever lol. There are so many comebacks in here lol.

Battle starts at 4:46

Too much noise in the background but I guess it's cool.

Post by: Squire Grooktook on July 07, 2013, 04:21:05 pm
If you played the game you'd realize how great it is. The skill here is AMAZING. Especially when Clockwork starts teleporting everywhere with Ninja Strider and making awesome comebacks.

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
Post by: Laughing Turd on July 07, 2013, 04:23:57 pm
I don't doubt it. Problem is that you're right, I don't know how to identify skill. I'd like to be really good at fighters but I don't have that same passion for the genre that you do.

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
Post by: Squire Grooktook on July 07, 2013, 04:32:09 pm
I have a deep dark secret.
I'm a casual
Also just look at this pro ninja gameplay (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVTdAOb54xI#t=12m39s/). The way he moves is incredibly. You have to manually aim all the teleports, and they leave you vulnerable so your predictions have to be perfect.

Also get on Steam more. Maybe we'll play some Vampire Savior (http://wiki.mizuumi.net/w/Vampire_Savior/FAQ) some time and I'll show you why flat chests are superior.

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
Post by: Laughing Turd on July 07, 2013, 04:40:18 pm
Nah, you get into fighting games way too deep to be casual.

The part of the video that you linked is as far as I made it the first go around. I got pissed off at the distorted Soulja Boy in the background.

Is Warcraft 2 and 3 on steam? Oh and I like chests of all sizes.

People played this game for 10 years after the dreamcast so they eventually started hacking it to swap out custom soundtracks lol

Is Warcraft 2 and 3 on steam? Oh and I like chests of all sizes.

Unfortunately no. I bought Warcraft 3 in a pc store last year.

Also Lilith is still (http://i.imgur.com/1rQXQeK.png) the best Vampire Savior character. (http://www.fightersgeneration.com/np2/char1/lilith-xedge.jpg)

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
Post by: Laughing Turd on July 07, 2013, 04:51:28 pm
Oh that's why you said flat chests are better. I thought you were gonna show me your ****.

Nah haha I'm just takin the ****

I was going to ask you if you like health bars or ring outs more?

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
Post by: Squire Grooktook on July 07, 2013, 04:54:31 pm
Healthbars, though of course Smash Bros is designed perfectly around ring outs.

Soul Calibur is probably my favorite game to have both.

Also I once got a guy who expected easy win against me playing Lilith to question her tier status.

"*after getting air thrown for the seventh time in the row* WHY IS SHE LOW TIER AGAIN?"

I know but I'm not telling.

Title: Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
Post by: Laughing Turd on July 07, 2013, 04:57:59 pm
So you DO like SSB. I was expecting you to say you like bars to the point that you wouldn't like SSB.

I was actually introduced to Soul Calibur on the Gamecube. I thought it would be really interesting to play as Link in a fighting game so I bought it. Turns out that I enjoyed it as a fighter even though I had a bit of trouble pulling off combos. I'd always try and end a match fast with a ring out.

Yeah I like Super Smash Bros. It's a great series. Except for tripping in brawl lol.

Mvc2 > SSB > All
Fixed.

Also: Further proof that Lilith is the best.

That guy she just wrecked is the main villain lol.

K sorry, my headset started running low on battery and someone took apart the speak system. I had to hook it back up and it took a sec. Also someone **** with the a/c so I had to check that out. **** 80 degrees in here.

SSB is probably my favorite fighting game. I don't get super into it but I was decent. Not sure what kind of level cap there is since it's more of a casual fighting game though.

Well, to quote from someone who's better then me:

"Super Smash Bros n64 was a party game that could also be played as a competitive fighter.

Super Smash Bros Melee was a party game that was better as a competitive fighter.

Brawl is awful as both a party game and a fighter."

But yeah, Smash Bros has a very high skill ceiling. The way high level players move is simply amazing.

After all, it IS going to Evo this year. Aka the biggest international tournament in the world, held at Vegas.

Wait for the match clips lol (1 minute in).
