Title: Wii U Should Be Safe From Hackers Post by: vdsvpsDotcom on July 09, 2013, 03:24:24 pm For all of those that hate hackers, looks like the main team that brought you Wii Homebrew (fail0verflow) will not be pursuing homebrew on the Wii U. Do a Google search for fail0verflow the future of console homebrew and select the first search result to get the details. If fail0verflow has really decided to not pursue this endeavor, then hacking on the Wii U will not exist. I feel that this is great news as it protects games from abusive hacking. However, those that try to bring more to the games through hacking will, unfortunately, also be out of luck.

Though I hear people accuse others of hacking in Blops2, which isn't possible unless you use the Black Hat item :P. I don't take those "people" (the accusers) seriously. Title: Re: Wii U Should Be Safe From Hackers Post by: Ps358 on July 09, 2013, 05:53:05 pm You think that the homebrew people are the only people that can do anything? Do you think they are the best in the world at what they do because they introduced you to the world of hacking? If you think that they are the only reason the wii online games were hacked, you're mistaken. Sorry, wii hackers are like puppies.

If you think that they are the only reason the wii online games were hacked, you're mistaken. Sorry, wii hackers are like puppies. Which might make what he's saying true. Not a whole lot of people are interested in hacking the Wii U, I'd wager. And if the team that spearheaded most of the hacking on the Wii has no plans to do so for the Wii U, you probably won't see as many hackers. If most hackers were really only script kiddies on the Wii, it's entirely possible you won't see hackers on the Wii U, though I doubt that. I don't take those "people" (the accusers) seriously. Lol. Yeah it got so bad on the Wii that if you did well at all then you were instantly a "hacker". So now it's carried over to the Wii U. It's inconceivable that you could possibly be better than me so you must be hacking. Either that or I'll blame it on the lag. :P Title: Re: Wii U Should Be Safe From Hackers Post by: Ps358 on July 10, 2013, 02:28:53 am You think that the homebrew people are the only people that can do anything?
