Title: Michael Sam good or not? and then let's talk about the Seahawks.
Post by: dudedudedude for Moderator on February 11, 2014, 10:28:13 am
I think certain NFL players will make themselves seem like huge ****wads with this. Guys like Adrian Peterson, Chris Culliver, Chris Clemons, Patrick Crayton have said that have issues with this and it's mind boggling. These are the same NFL players who had no issue with Ray Lewis in a locker room, a guy who killed two people and was convicted of obstruction of justice.

The issue is, was he good enough to get drafted anyways? He's a 4-3 DE which takes away half of NFL teams. He's also 6'1" 240 pounds. That knocks you off the Seahawks board for example. I just don't want this to turn into "I didn't get drafted because in kechua" when in reality he's a long shot to be drafted anyways.

he is a tweener, reminds me of a player like Nick Reed, great college player and was good against number 2's and 3's in the preseason but will get rocked at the pro level

don't forget about jesse williams and Jordan Hill, here is what i think will happen, i think Rice, Miller , Red and Clemmons get cut, I think we resign Baldwin, Bennet and Thomas this offseason, no on Sherman because i'm sure they are aware that franchising him will save them money to extend Wilson and buy them more time with there core. With that said I think WR and Te will be top priority, but I do agree that dline is a need now that i think about it with Mcdonald and the other mc guy from the dline being free agents as well, they will let thurmand walk as well with tate unless he really does take a big discount.

So wr-te-dl-ol-corner in that order maybe

Bennett slides to 5-tech. Williams knees are shot who knows if he plays. Jordan Hill is a penetrating 3-tech. With McDaniel gone we need a run stopping 3-tech. MacDonald is gone too. Avril slides to LEO. If Williams does play he can play 5-tech on early downs. Not sure how he is at two gaping though. Mayowa is still a question mark. We need D-line pretty badly.

Also doubt Millee gets cut. His cap hit drops from this point on.
